Nashville is having a moment. They’ve always been a destination for country music ‘s best but now, this Vegas of the South is experiencing the kind of growth that puts cities on the map globally.

In the political realm, they just elected the first female mayor. They have record low unemployment rates(3.1%), and the growth in the area is unprecedented –with a current 3.7 billion dollars in building contracts alone.
And now,  it’s easier than ever to get there. JetBlue just launched direct flights from Boston and Ft. Lauderdale. The best part? Nashvillians know how to be gracious hosts and show you a fabulous time. But what’s surprising is the area’s budding fashion scene. Yep, Nashville has more entrepreneurial style stars that any other US city – excluding NYC and LA, of course.

Nisolo shoes might be made in Peru but they are designed in Nashville. The comfy hipster footwear is luxurious but affordable.

For preppy feminine frocks head to Nashvillian Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James. They also have sweet home decor items that make for perfect gifting.

White’s Merchantile’s owner is not only BFFs with  Gwyneth Paltrow, she has a fantastic eye. This modern-day general store is a treasure trove filled with gifts like candles, home decor clothing, hats, handbags, jewelry and gourmet food items from the area.
Judith Bright’s baubles have adorned the likes of J-Lo, Catherine Zeta Jones and Eva Longoria. Find pretty geometric chandelier earrings, sandalwood beaded bracelets, and wire wrapped gemstone rings priced at around $38-$398.
