Where to brunch in San Francisco

One of the only things I look forward to during the weekend is BRUNCH. It’s one of my favorite meals of the day since it has all of my favorite food like waffles, pancakes, eggs and bloody mary anyone? Most restaurants in San Francisco don’t take reservations so there is always a wait but totally worth it. Here’s a guide on where to brunch in San Francisco.

Aina

Aina is a modern Hawaiian eatery located in Dogpatch. Every dish is delicious and I highly suggest making a trip here for brunch or even dinner. They do take reservations but they book up fast, so get in there quickly!

What to order: Spam musubi, taro french toast, kalbi loco moco and kalua pork belly.

Mama’s On Washington Square – 1701 Stockton Street – Every time I try to brunch here, the line is ridiculously long. Plow – 1299 18th Street – One of the cheaper brunch restaurants but still offering the best quality. The wait can be up to two hours here so go early! What to order: EVERYTHING is good here! A few top items are the lemon ricotta pancakes, Hong Kong style toast, and the fried egg sandwich.

Straw – 203 Octavia Boulevard – Known for their carnival-inspired comfort food and insane dishes. Some include the fried chicken & waffle monte cristo and the ring master donut burger. Yes, you read that right… donuts is used as the bun!

Tartine Manufactory – 595 Alabama Street – Very quaint decor and healthy food! Come early for the best pastries or come during brunch/lunch for the salads and tartines. Leave room for dessert! What to order: Probably everything but I suggest getting the mascarpone and fig toast, bread pudding and soft serve!
