WEAR THIS Sustainable M.i.h

We are loving the push in sustainability from fashion brands. With winter looming, wardrobes are filling with woollies – and this is a favourite. The Bianca sweater by M.i.h. Retro-inspired, but made in supersoft recycled cashmere for a modern attitude.

With a deep rib cuff and delicate overarm frill,  it’s made from surplus fibres from the manufacture of virgin cashmere yarn that would otherwise have been discarded. It’s limited edition so get in there quick.

EAT HERE Greyhound Café

It’s a cool, stylish Thai restaurant in Fitzrovia. You might be familiar with it as there are lots now spotted around the globe. Greyhound was founded by the extremely suave Bhanu Inkawat and alongside the fashion side of the brand, Greyhound have been opening their restaurants since 1998 with locations in Bangkok, Shanghai, Hong Kong and more but it was in the Thai capital where it all began.

The restaurant is set over two floors with a canopied patio, with Greyhound’s signature monochrome design with hand-drawn, chalk designs and complemented by an eclectic Thai-meets-West interior, typical of the post-70s era of ‘Siwilai’.

With a respect for Thai cooking, favourite dishes include ‘Salmon in Hot Pursuit’ and ‘Complicated Noodle’. It’s not so complicated and worth trying.

USE THIS Kjaer Weis and Caroline Issa red lipsticks

What is the one thing you need to travel with to up your travel + beauty game, wherever you are? Red lipstick. In a partnership with Kjaer Weis and style icon Caroline Issa (and Chief Executive and Fashion Director of TANK Magazine), they are launching two velvety red lipsticks supporting global Charity Women for Women.

Both lipsticks are “old-Hollywood-glam” reds that work effortlessly for day or night. Packed with nourishing Shea Butter, Rosehip and Jojoba Oil, this incredible heat-activated formula provides hydration along with a smooth burst of color. The sleek silver case is refillable, too – reflecting the brand’s environmental consciousness.

Amour Rouge is a reflection of her memories of growing up in Canada with the full red maple leaves during autumns in Montreal, while Sucré has encapsulated the memories of picking red “love” saga seeds as a child during summers in Singapore. These shades are a personal reflection from Caroline and the ideal addition to the brands existing range of organic luxury lipsticks.
