Just in time for Valentine’s Day, National Archives opens its With Love exhibition, featuring love letters from within its record. Immerse yourself in the changing expressions of love through history in this free exhibition. Peruse romantic ramblings from a queen, a prime minister and other figures, telling stories of heartbreak, passion and disappointment. Kleenex at the ready, we think.
EAT HERE Louis Vuittaon, Osaka maison
Who doesn’t love Louis Vuitton. Well, they are now putting on their chef hat.
This February, the French fashion house opens both a café and restaurant in its new Osaka, Japan maison. This is the first time the brand is venturing into culinary waters.
Both of the inevitable hotspots, Le Café V and Sugalabo V, will feature dishes from famed chef Yosuke Suga, once the protégé of the 32-Michelin star-earner Joël Robuchon. Le Café V will be housed on the fourth (and top) floor of the store. There’s also a cocktail bar and outdoor terrace, making it an ideal post-shopping spree spot come spring.
