With one foot in spring and the other one in summer, ‘sprummer’ as we’ll call it is officially our favourite season – no matter what’s going on in the world.

WEAR THIS Desmond & Dempsey x H&M collection

Some PJ-inspired prints are so good they deserve to be seen outdoors. Luxury pyjama brand Desmond & Dempsey is opening the bedroom door and stepping out into the sunlight with a daywear collaboration with H&M. The capsule collection features laidback dresses, linen shorts and kaftans in unique prints like palms and botanicals designed for lazy summer days/isolating outdoors. “Our prints start with an adventure. It doesn’t always have to be far, but a visit to somewhere that has triggered our imagination,” says Molly Goddard, co-founder of Desmond & Dempsey.

SPRITZ THIS Ilapothecary Beat the Blues Room Spray

Do lockdown like Demi Moore… As part of her daily routine, the actress spritzes Ilapothecary’s Beat the Blues Room Spray. “It actually changes the whole mood of everything,” she says. “It’s a combination of tuberose, clary sage, a little bit of orange and it actually really does what it says it does. Like, it’s completely uplifting.” The transformative essential oil blend helps to clear the atmosphere and create an uplifting space to work or chill out. Best of all, the mood booster comes in a handy 10ml spray so you can pack it in your carry-on post-lockdown.

DANCE TO THIS Potato Head Beach Club

If you’re missing the dancefloor IRL, bring the global DJs to your living room. Some of the world’s best hotel and beach club sets are now streaming for some aural download escapism. Virtually travel to Bali with Potato Head Beach Club’s curated playlist on Spotify which features music to unleash your inner island girl. Meanwhile, The Shanghai Edition has teamed up with China nightlife promoter, Eric Zho to create live stream DJ performances at the hotel’s closed outlets and bars. Matthew Cooper, of The Shanghai Edition says: “In this time of social distancing we want to embrace the new norm and call it being ‘Remotely Social’.”

RUN THIS Get Lippy Run with #TeamEve

Get your best lipstick out and your runners on to mark the third Get Lippy campaign to raise awareness of gynae health. Throughout May, gynaecological cancer charity The Eve Appeal is running a series of virtual events and lippy-inspired activities so you can do your bit in lockdown. Join #TeamEve for the virtual Get Lippy Run on May 17th. Don your boldest lippy (or streak it across your cheeks), and run, jog or walk 5k around your garden or local area to help raise funds and awareness for gynaecological cancers. Registration is £5 per runner.

NOTE THIS Mary Katrantzou’s Limited Edition Notebook

Journaling is more popular than ever right now to check in with our lockdown emotions. Document the designer way with Mary Katrantzou’s Limited Edition Notebooks. The fabric notebooks have been covered with offcuts of Mary’s unique fabrics as seen on her catwalk collections for a one-of-a-kind piece. Featuring runway prints of vintage postage stamp (SS13 collection) and coral seashells (SS19 anniversary collection), we’ll be jotting down our ‘dream now, travel later’ to-do lists. Each notebook is £50 and 20% of all sales will be donated to Age UK and Action for Children to support those most in need at this critical time.
