Discover the chicest black evening wear from the exclusive Laura Bailey X Iris & Ink collaboration.
Iris & Ink, the in-house brand from luxury discount website The Outnet, is beloved by fashion insiders and editors alike. Whilst The Outnet is known as the one-stop shop for delivering high end designer pieces and the season’s hottest trends at a discounted price, Iris & Ink’s collection of grown up, wear-with-everything essentials slip into your capsule wardrobe, offering luxe minimalism.
Hot on the heels of previous collaborations with the likes of Julia Restoin Roitfeld comes ‘Designed By Laura’. A limited edition capsule by Laura Bailey for Iris & Ink, perfect for evening dressing.
The collection in a sophisticated black palette comprises five dresses, a jumpsuit and a sleek velvet pant suit crafted in luxurious and contemporary fabrics which emulate Laura’s signature style and the Iris & Ink classic aesthetic. A percentage of proceeds will be going to Save the Children, with Laura being a long standing ambassador.
How would you describe your style?
Portobello tomboy princess / eclectic English. Making it up depending on my mood. I’ll always be attracted to the rule breakers and the rebels, & the spirit of London. From the art schools to Fashion Week, skate parks to Vogue House (home to glossy magazine Publisher Condé Nast) – it remains my eternal muse.
What inspired the collection?
Actresses and European adventures. Travelling light and la dolce vita. Street life and portobello vintage scavenging. My girlfriends.
What is your favourite piece from the collection?
The black velvet ‘Isabella’ dress. It’s glamorous but relaxed, as easy as a pair of jeans. It’s the one dress I’d pack for an adventure, amidst the drum and the khaki.
Tell us more about your ambassadorship with Save The Children?
As a long-term ambassador for Save The Children I’ve been lucky to both travel with the charity and support their amazing work closer to home. This relationship is one of the greatest honours of my life, and in these testing times for so many, it is even more important to me to work hard to give back. Girls’ education and empowerment is a key mission for me and Save The Children’s work in this field is a constant source of motivation and inspiration. How lucky to be given the chance to design a capsule collection with Iris & Ink and The Outnet, which will also help support this important work internationally! I am so grateful for this opportunity and to The Outnet for their support of Save The Children.
The Laura Bailey X Iris & Ink capsule collection will be available to shop online at TheOutnet.com on November 10th.
