As November nears to a close, festive cheer is beginning to bubble.
Thanksgiving is afoot, meaning this week we’re leaning into the spirit of things and beginning to feel properly festive. Cue the kitsch jumpers (only ours come courtesy of Rowing Blazers a la Princess Di).
WEAR THIS Warm & Wonderful X Rowing Blazers
Prepsters will rejoice at the news that Rowing Blazers have rereleased two of Princess Diana’s most iconic sweaters (And some other choice stylings too). In a tribute to the early ’80s and Princess Di’s enduring style, we’re certain to be wearing the “sheep sweater” by Warm & Wonderful, and the “I’m a Luxury” jumper by Gyles & George for the foreseeable. Long after season 4 of The Crown has ended, our obsession with vibrant kitsch sweaters will endure. Long live the witty knit.
CELEBRATE WITH THIS Thanksgiving with Brown's
Thanksgiving is this Thursday and Brown’s – a London spot that is always booked out for its Thanksgiving lunch and dinner – wants to ensure this year feels just as special. Charlie’s restaurant is bringing Thanksgiving to our doorsteps with a luxury menu including New England style clam chowder, rolled roast turkey breast (and all the trimmings) and finishing off with a traditional pecan and maple pie. Their five-star ‘at-home’ experience is equipped with everything you could need from ingredients to cooking instructions included, and wine pairing options are also available upon request for the ultimate celebratory meal.
WATCH THIS Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square, Netflix
Saint Dolly Parton (as she’s know around CF) comes to streaming giant Netflix this Christmas. The plot: seasonal cheer comes to a screeching halt when a cold-hearted woman (played by the remarkable Christine Baranski) tries to sell her hometown’s land to a mall developer. There, she is confronted by an angel (Parton). Can she be swayed (we’re guessing yes, given that A) this is a Christmas move and B) she has constant guidance from Parton’s angel character). Consider this THE festive hit of the season, complete with a feel good soundtrack that is signature Dolly.
SHOP THIS LOEWE tree ring in metal
Believe us when we say, we only need the thinnest wisp of an excuse to supplement our jewellery collection. Enter “Monday treats” (we just made it up) and our latest Loewe obsession. Made in Italy, this ornamental U-shaped ring features creeping vines – offering up a celtic torc vibe – and ranks high on our wishlist. With resin stones at each end, the costume piece is a delicate addition to modernise more classic pieces and an easy add on for day-time dressing. Go on – give your hardworking hands the luxe upgrade they deserve.
