Welcome to ‘Til The Last Drop: a new column in which I, CF Beauty Editor, Olivia Bennett, share my bi-monthly review of a favourite cult product that I (truly) use to the last drop. This week’s featured product is 111SKIN’s Concentrates.
I’m messaged by friends and family, at all hours of the day, with recommendation requests for everything from “the budget gel moisturiser that works with combination skin” to “the hard-hitting eye cream that will make Botox a last resort”, and queries on “whether X, Y, and Z from the current trending brand is REALLY worth the hype”.
Such incessant inquiries sparked this column, where I’ll cover best-selling names alongside under-the-radar brands to note. You’ll hear about blow-the-budget products that live up to their hefty price tag and the purse-friendly steals which I unashamedly turn to time and again.
No need to text me, I’ll be sharing all my intel with you right here every other week. Tune in.
Cosmeceuticals are definitely having a moment, and one such brand we’re increasingly turning to is 111SKIN. Their new Concentrates are designed to replicate the in-clinic experience, offering the best in customisable skincare at-home. There are five systems to choose from, each targeting a different skin concern from dullness and congestion, to ageing. Each comprises seven once-daily glass ampoules, housing highly efficacious formulas to be applied directly to the skin in conjunction with your usual skincare regime. After a long winter my skin was in dire need of the Hydration Concentrate, a three-pronged attack against dehydration and lacklustre skin. The cocktail is efficacious to say the least: hyaluronic acid to promote long-lasting hydration and decrease wrinkles, sodium polyglutamate to increase moisturise retention, and a hydrating complex to mimic skin's natural hydration process. After seven days my skin felt smoother, softer, and bouncier. This is skincare wizardy at it's finest.
