Trending: Why Interiors Are So In Fashion

Increasingly, fashion labels are turning their attention to interiors – extending their creative outputs and brand offering even further.

With many of us zoning in on the coolest trending interiors pieces around, hunting for a living room enlivener with the same tenacity we would a new season dress, it’s no wonder many fashion brands have now introduced interiors collections into the fray. From whimsical florals at LoveShackFancy and BERNADETTE, to bohemian prints at Etro, and unapologetic bright hues at La DoubleJ, these are the fashion brands to look to for your next interiors hit.

PREEN BY THORNTON BREGAZZI

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi is never a brand to shy away from bold prints, regularly splicing contrasting patterns to create statement dresses replete with florals for a modern take on Victoriana dresses. This satin silk throw is a true extension of the runway with bold prints on one side and a subdued black floral on the reverse. The perfect flourish to neutral bed linen.

MANGO

A European sojourn may still feel infuriatingly out of reach, but thankfully Mango’s inaugural homewear line, infused with the laid-back elegance of Mediterranean living, has dropped to take the holiday spirit into the home. An array of neutral, tonal linens and cushions to decorate the bedroom or the living room, the collection is predominantly made from sustainable products, as Mango endeavours to amp up their eco credentials. Look out for the introduction of kitchen and dining room pieces landing in autumn.

LORETTA CAPONI

Firenze is home to exquisite beauty and traditional craftmanship as exemplified through Loretta Caponi, a Florence-based heritage label who specialise in the most meticulous of linen dresses and tableware. Florence is high up on the CF list of where to travel next, but until that time comes we'll be adorning our tabletops with these beautiful lemon embroidered placemats for a splash of Florentine fun.

ETRO

Etro’s SS21 collection is a hedonistic feast. A bohemian-inspired array of their signature paisley prints adorn cushions and throws, while the Goa collection is inspired by nature. Take our word – these are tactile fabrics you’ll want to pile up with aplomb.

SÉZANE

The Solidarity Gallery, which sits on the Sézane website, is a charitable initiative operated via DEMAIN. Show your support and purchase a colourful print – it will instantly inject some colour into your home, whilst also helping to make a difference.

LOEWE

We love LOEWE for it's veritable array of 'It' bags (particularly basket bags) which sell out season after season. Now, with their recently launched candle line, there’s another item we can’t wait to get our hands on. Taking inspiration from the vegetable garden, these scents are anything but ordinary – ranging from tomato to beetroot, honeysuckle to pea shoot. Each scent is deliciously unexpected and look ripe for the ‘gram, presented in chubby curvaceous vessels and wax candlestick iterations.

SUSAN ALEXANDRA X YELLOWPOP

Susan Alexandra’s joyful, bead-adorned accessories have proven quite a hit with the NY crowd and now the designer's turned her attention to brightening up the home with a collaboration with neon-light designer, YELLOWPOP. From abstract motifs to butterflies these rainbow-hued designs are quite a conversation piece.

LOVESHACKFANCY

Fans of prairie-esque floral dresses from American label LoveShackFancy will love the vintage-inspired chintz of their homeware line. Tones are what you’ve come to expect from the label: powder blues, dusky rose, and crisp whites. From darling throws to pep up neutral corners of the living room, to hyper-feminine table cloths for the prettiest tablescapes, there's a lot to be excited by.

LA DOUBLEJ

La DoubleJ homeware is as decadent as you’d expect from the brand that champions unashamed maximalism through its vintage-inspired designs and playful deployment of colour. JJ Martin has once again brought a touch of la dolce vita into the home with these cheerful glasses. Handmade in Italy, as always, La DoubleJ celebrates traditional craftsmanship. There’s no more joyful glass to toast the start of summer.

BERNADETTE

The Antwerp-based, mother-daughter design duo behind BERNADETTE have already made us fall head over heels for their floral silk dresses, and now they’ve introduced a homeware line with equal pulling power. Made in collaboration with South African-based ceramic artisan Mervyn Gers, they’ve stuck with their signature florals to create crockery that's just as sweet.
