VISIT THIS RIXO Pop-Up

Diehard RIXO fans that we are, we squealed with delight on learning that RIXO had opened a new pop-up store in BOXPARK Shoreditch. Based at unit 34, the RIXO Archive is filled with gorgeous, vintage-inspired prints, from flowy maxi dresses to summer blouses bedecked in hand-painted patterns. A great spot to hunt down sweet-yet-sophisticated outfitting for summer events (safe in the knowledge that you want be matching with someone else), the pop-up is open until September. We’re heading east for a shopping spree ASAP.

BOOK THIS Pantechnicon Roof Garden

Now that Pantechnicon’s Roof Garden has reopened to guests on Motcomb Street, may we suggest you promptly nab a spot on their south-facing terrace (book ahead or try your luck as a walk-in). Once seated, surrounded by a Nordic garden designed by Finnish horticulturalist Taina (which means ‘little tree’) Suonio, turn your attention to their impressive menu. Inspired by Nordic and Japanese cultures, choose from a selection of moreish dishes – think lip-smacking dishes, like beef fillet with barley, beetroot, and kale – then cast your eye towards their deliciously Nordic cocktail menu. While you decide on mains, we suggest you start with a round of white Svalbard negronis for the table.

SHOP THIS Hoops, Bottega Veneta

Looking to inject a little colour and contemporaneity into your summer wardrobe? Assembled in Italy, these agate and 18kt gold-plated silver hoop earrings are a lovely addition. While they’re just understated enough to wear everyday, they’ll easily dress up any evening look. Their intense green shade will add an unexpected pop to your outfit. Perfect.

BOOK THIS The Picnic, Holkham Hall

Holkham Hall, plotted on the imposing Holkham Estate in Norfolk, is being taken over by The Picnic festival this June. The programme – which runs from 17 to 27 June – features eclectic arts and entertainment (including live music, comedy, musical theatre, yoga, and more). Enjoy the aforementioned while tucking into a decadent picnic – options include “from the sea”, “from the land”, and “from the farm”, with a children’s menu available too. See you on the lawn, ladies.
