'Til The Last Drop #9

Welcome to ‘Til The Last Drop: a new column in which I, CF Beauty Editor, Olivia Bennett, share my bi-monthly review of a favourite cult product that I (truly) use to the last drop. This week’s featured product is Tan Luxe Hydra-Mousse.

I’m messaged by friends and family, at all hours of the day, with recommendation requests for everything from “the budget gel moisturiser that works with combination skin” to “the hard-hitting eye cream that will make Botox a last resort”, and queries on “whether X, Y, and Z from the current trending brand is REALLY worth the hype”.

Such incessant inquiries sparked this column, where I’ll cover best-selling names alongside under-the-radar brands to note. You’ll hear about blow-the-budget products that live up to their hefty price tag and the purse-friendly steals which I unashamedly turn to time and again.

No need to text me, I’ll be sharing all my intel with you right here every other week. Tune in.

One of the products I'm quizzed on most often – particularly this year, with travel remaining rather elusive – is fake tan. When asked, the brand I always recommend is Tan-Luxe. They were one of the first to hit the market with a revolutionary tanning water, and also have tanning serums, body butters, and various formulas – all of which give a natural authentic glow, without a tell-tale streak in sight. The colourless mousse is my weapon of choice for naturally glowing limbs. I love the fact there's no sticky residue, which means no transfer onto clothes or sheets. With a nourishing cocktail of vitamins, raspberry oil, and aloe vera, the whipped foam easily glides onto skin leaving it super hydrated and silky soft. If your pressed for time ahead of a big event, this product also delivers a wonderful deep colour in one application. And the best part? It fades evenly, so you can top up whenever you heart desires.
