This Week CF Loves: 23.08.2021

As August comes to a close, and that back-to-school feeling begins to creep in, we’re making a list of five joy-inducing things that are certain to give our week a little lift.

For the latest London hotel openings and tips on the best members club to join (for as little as £1), check out this week’s CF Hotlist.

Via Pan Pacific

BOOK THIS Pan Pacific London

We’re pretty excited about this London opening. Launching on 1 September, Pan Pacific London – located in Bishopsgate Plaza – is sure to become a post-work destination for Londoners (given its proximity to Spitalfields market and Shoreditch) and an oft-visited spot for out-of-towners too. The first European outpost of Pan Pacific Hotels Group, the hotel boasts some 237 guestrooms, offering visitors a variety of stay options. There’s also a wellness floor that comprises of an infinity pool, gong therapy room, and a state-of-the-art gym. Meanwhile, the restaurants and lounges are inspired by Singaporean culture – expect food and beverage with Asian influences. See you there next month.

SHOP THIS Oran Sandal, Hermes

Look kindly on us fashion gods (and Hermes shop assistants). We’d really to have these iconic “H” cut-out sandals for our very own. An essential piece in every modern woman’s wardrobe – the silhouette is classic and chic, while the denim canvas offers a modern edge. The leather slides are made in Italy and would look just super worn in situ – or sported anywhere else along the Med, in fact.

Via The Stack

SIGN UP TO THIS The Stack

With over 10 years experience of organising women’s communities and events across beauty, business, and self development under her belt, Sharmadean Reid has created The Stack – a “new destination for inspiration, education, and recommendations.” The Stack.World – with 1,000 members and counting – offers “exclusive access to virtual event programming as well as members-only content”, spanning fundraising to facials. The Stack.World serves as a useful tool for ambitious women – take, for example, their whizzy new in-app networking function which allows you to connect with fellow members. The platform’s dynamic content and inspiring events are accessible to all, with membership available from £1. The reasons to sign up are really stacking up…

Via Fraîcheur

PRIMP WITH THIS FRAÎCHEUR Ice Globes

FRAÎCHEUR Ice Globes are the absolute bee’s knees. Made entirely from glass, these cryo globes help reduce blood flow and inflammation to ultimately improve blood circulation. Filled with anti-freeze liquid, the spherical beauty tools offer a myriad of skincare benefits – they can help diminish your dark circles, soothe sunburn, and reduce puffiness. To use: place your Ice Globes in the freezer for a minimum of 20 minutes before massaging your face in a circular motion for 10-15 minutes. Et voila; you’re gorgeous.

WATCH THIS Nine Perfect Strangers, Hulu/Amazon Prime

Based on the bestselling book from Australian author Liane Moriarty, Nine Perfect Strangers, the eight-part series will draw you in from the off (though your concentration might waiver as the series continues – peaking at episode three). Set in an uber-luxurious boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation, upon arrival guests are required to surrender their phones and medication. Over the course of their ten-day retreat these stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. However – *plot twist* – these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them. Starring Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon et al.
