This Week CF Loves: 13.09.2021

The Chelsea Flower show returns, a little later in the season than expected. In anticipation of its reinstatement, we’re raising a glass (of bubbles) and tucking into a particularly lovely afternoon tea, created in its honour, at Brown’s Hotel.

After indulging in some hotel living, we’re celebrating time spent at home with a whole host of Diptyque products – to mark the brand’s 60th anniversary – and screenshotting every inch of sofa.com’s new AW collection. Check it, and more, out below.

ORDER THIS The A/W 2021 Collection, sofa.com

sofa.com’s new AW21 collection – which spans beds, dining, home office, sofas, and wide variety of home accessories – has just dropped and it’s wowing. Elevating interiors to Instagram-worthy levels, we’ve added the majority of the collection to our wish list. Our top picks: the Larsen sofa – a sleek, curvaceous Scandi-inspired, cocoon-like design, that looks slightly modern and cool, but is malleable in style; the Ginger accent chair – chic yet comfy, it’s the perfect place to perch with a book after a long day at work; and the Dickens desk perfect for sprucing up your work-from-home space. To shop the full collection, visit sofa.com.

EAT THIS Brown's Hotel X Chelsea Flower Show Tea

Afternoon tea inspired by the floral delights of the Chelsea Flower Show – what could be better than that? The perfect way, and place, to debrief after exploring the world-renowned flower show (which runs from 21-26 September), feast on delicate cakes and neatly cut sandwiches at Brown’s between 17 September and 1 October. In-house florist, Ellie Hartley Flowers, will adorn the Drawing Room, where Queen Victoria famously took tea, with floral fancies and Floris delicately scented candles. What’s more, you’ll take home a special gift from Floris post-teatime.

BOOK THIS Hôtel Madame Rêve

The much-anticipated Hôtel Madame Rêve is opening its doors this October. Eight years in the making, it seems the Paris hotel was worth the wait. Housed in the iconic 19th-century Louvre post office building, Hôtel Madame Rêve has arguably the most enviable location in Paris. Deemed “the city’s hottest new address to rest, rêve, and rendezvous”, we’re making a note in our diaries to book a stay, and are also carving out some time whilst in the ‘City of Light’ for drinks at it’s fourth-floor rooftop terrace and sky garden. For a wowing weekend getaway, this is just the ticket.

SHOP THIS Diptyque X Selfridges Corner Shop

Diptyque is celebrating its 60th year. To mark the occasion, the fragrance brand has taken up (corner) shop at Selfridges. Primely positioned on the intersection between Oxford Street and Duke Street, the space is already tempting many a passer-by inside – thanks, in part, to the painterly Parisian window displays out front. Once indoors, you’ll be taken on an immersive, multi-sensorial tour spanning Paris, Kyoto, Byblos, and beyond. En route, discover the house’s latest perfumed creations, each of which celebrate the destinations that have inspired Diptqyue along its 60-year journey. Le Grand Tour Pop-Up runs until 3 October.
