The Beauty Haul Diaries: HRH Princess Olympia of Greece

Ever wondered what a princess uses on her skin?

Model, socialite, and member of the Greek royal family, HRH Princess Olympia of Greece can now add another hyphen to her string of titles, thanks to her new collaboration with The Organic Pharmacy.

This is Olympia’s first foray into the world of beauty, launching with Hyaluronic Acid Serum Glow. This hydrating elixir contains triple molecular weight hyaluronic acid, soothing witch hazel flower water, and zesty grapefruit essential oil, topped off with a light shimmer for that well-rested, post-holiday glow all year round. “I just love the instant hydration and immediate definition it gives my skin… I’m always glowing!”, Olympia adds.

Equipped with her The Organic Pharmacy favourites and trusty gua sha, we delve into Olympia’s travel psyche.

What are your must-do beauty rituals/treatments before you travel?

I always carry a small Bioderma Micellar Water and cotton pads to keep me feeling fresh, followed by The Organic Pharmacy’s Rose Facial Spritz to keep my skin hydrated. Lastly, I couldn’t leave home without my Dr. PAWPAW ointment for lips.

How do you adapt your beauty regime when you travel?

Because my routine is so simple, I don’t ever need to adapt or carry less.

Do you prefer to pack travel minis or full-size beauty staples? And why?

Full size. It’s much more sustainable than buying minis.

Do you have a regular plane beauty routine?

My routine is small and simple: cleanser, serum, and moisturiser.

What’s been your favourite vacation spa so far and why?

When I travelled with my family to Japan, I loved experiencing the traditional Japanese spa. It was such an amazing cultural experience.

How do you unwind whilst travelling?

A long walk along the beach with my family.

How do you overcome jet-lagged skin/eyes when you land?

I love using ice or a chilled gua sha. I always massage it around my face, and use under-eye patches or The Organic Pharmacy’s Lifting Eye Gel.

What’s been your favourite country to shop for homegrown beauty products?

I like to shop sustainably and buy products at home in London.

What are your top beauty tips when travelling?

Less is more. I never wear too much make-up or experiment with different skin products. All you need is a little glow to enhance holiday skin, which was is why I created my Hyaluronic Acid Serum Glow; it does so much in just one product.

What is top of your beauty wish list right now?

I would love a mini fridge for my bathroom so I could keep my gua sha nice and cold!
