Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay: Where Elegance Meets Beach Bohemia

Ibiza Bay this magical island’s slice of the Nobu group epitomises luxury done well.

Fusing beach bohemia with elegant touches and acute attention to detail, it captures the heart of its location while staying true to its sister properties’ polished aesthetic.

Worthy of its five-star status? Absolutely, but there’s nothing pretentious about this space. One thing’s for sure, it’s not just Es Vedra’s magnetic pull that will draw you back to Ibiza.

The Vibe

The minute you step into the bright, open reception, you’re greeted with a crisp glass of champagne and a genuine smile. ‘Welcome’ is the only way to describe this feeling, and if ‘holiday mode’ is what you’re searching for, you’ve found it. Poolside, things are relaxed and easily accessible. The staff can’t seem to do enough for you, a bar serving cocktails, coconuts, and freshly made juices is right by the water’s edge and a DJ strikes up from 7PM as a reminder (incase you’d momentarily forgotten) of exactly what island you’ve landed on.

Beach beds circle the aquamarine water and overlook Talamanca Bay, the small but beautiful bay that earned this hotel its name. Wide open doorways, white, blue, and beechwood furnishings, and a choice collection of beautiful Balearic photography bring the outdoors in in a way that feels so natural it might even go unnoticed.

The property’s clever W-shaped design means that the child-friendly pool, family rooms, and kids’ club are located on the quieter side of the venue. Come nightfall, bedtime won’t be disturbed by music or the chatter of the outside terrace at Nobu as it starts to come alive.

The Rooms

Every detail has been considered, from the placement of the plug sockets and light switches to the rotation of the TV on the wall. Bedrooms are spacious, bright, and, above all, comfortable. If you have the option, choose an ocean-view room for picture-perfect sunset viewings.

The Little Extras

When a woven beach bag (chicer than anything you’ve bought in the Old Town), pool slides, a canvas tote, and a welcome note can be found on your bed upon arrival, you know you’re onto a winner. There’s also a nightly turn-down service and all the toiletries you need for a few days away. The ground-floor boutique is stocked with beachy garms by local designers, espadrilles, and eco-friendly beauty products that make the perfect keepsakes.

The Food + Drink

Nobu is the jewel in Ibiza Bay’s crown the reputable Japanese restaurant draws in guests from all over the island. You can’t go wrong with the omakase menu, a carefully curated selection of the chef’s favourite dishes, featuring the freshest catch of the day. Be sure to ask for wine recommendations to complement your menu and sample a cocktail or two as an aperitif – these creative concoctions make the perfect accompaniment to sunset by the pool.

Breakfast is served in the relaxed beach restaurant, Chambao and offers table service as well as a buffet. Don’t miss the shakshuka, paired with a cup of the barista’s finest to start your day the right way.

Still hungry? The pool deck menu runs throughout the day, and Bay Café serves up health-conscious snacks by Passion, too.

The To-Do List

If you’re keen to experience life beyond Ibiza Bay, the concierge is on hand to make restaurant reservations and suggest the best ways to explore. Take to the waters by kayak, cover land by e-bike, or hike to secret fresh-water pools and hidden coves with local expert, Manuel.

For a sample of what the local wineries have to offer, journey to Ojo De Ibiza vineyard for a tasting experience exclusive to hotel guests. Alternatively, create the ultimate chill-out itinerary and book into a morning class on the yoga deck before treating yourself to a massage at the Ibiza Bay Spa, all just a few steps from your room.
