BOOK THIS Skate At Somerset House

Skate at Somerset House has become something of a seasonal tradition for us. Plotted right in the centre of the neoclassical courtyard, the ice-skating rink, presented in collaboration with Moët & Chandon, is a great festive injection. Adults should stop by the Moët & Chandon Skate Lounge for a selection of champagne cocktails post-skate sessions, while kids will enjoy chocolate workshops at the Hotel Chocolat pop-up. Opt for a night skate session as Radio 1 DJs set the vibe with fun music, and follow with a gourmet-dining experience at Chalet Barragiste with Jimmy Garcia; the pop-up Alpine restaurant offers a selection of lip-smacking après ski-style dishes like truffle fondue, raclette, and charcuterie boards.

TRY THIS Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser Home and Away Kit

Tiffany Masterson’s magical skincare brand, Drunk Elephant, is heralded for its wowing results. Fan-favourite Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser, is now available Home and Away Kit format – combining a full-sized and travel-sized version of the cultish product; super handy when you’re on the go. Designed to be used on dry skin, Slaai removes excess oil, grime, and make up from skin. Once applied, add water to activate, then rinse with warm water and pat dry. The accompanying exfoliant, Bamboo Booster is one to use once or twice a week to gently cast off build-up and dead skin cells, revealing a dewy complexion.

CONSIDER THIS 74-78 Marylebone Lane, Living Rooms

Tracy Lowy’s hotel alternative, Living Rooms has launched a new apartment collection 74-78 Marylebone Lane. Designed by long-term design partner Tom Bartlett of Waldo Works (checkout out his work at The Laslett), Marylebone Lane will comprise seven stylish apartments right in the heart of W1. Those seeking somewhere comfortable and private to spend a number of days in the capital, should look to the design-led accommodation group for inspiration when booking their next London jaunt.

EAT THIS The Barbary Next Door, Covent Garden

Head to Neal’s Yard courtyard, to discover The Barbary Next Door, a relaxed neighbourhood wine bar, and the ‘little sister’ of the Berber-inspired The Barbary. Serving up a menu influenced by Moorish Spain and North African cooking, feast on dishes including raw sea bass with cherry coriander salad and lime yoghurt and chicken pastilla, a chicken filo pie dusted with cinnamon and icing sugar. Wash it all down with a glass of something delicious – their curated wine list focuses on Spanish, French, and Moroccan bottles.
