This Week CF Loves: 24.01.22

As January runs its final lap, an air of optimism is billowing in as we prepare for the month ahead. From back-to-work attire to holiday planning, we’re ready to kick 2022 up a notch.

Scroll on for this week’s rundown in full.

BOOK THIS Amanpuri

As Aman’s flagship property, Amanpuri has served as a peaceful sanctuary for over three decades. Plotted on a rainforest-covered peninsula, overlooking a secluded stretch of Phuket’s west coast, this restful island retreat is verifiably one of Asia’s best beach hotels. Adventure-seekers: prepare to be enticed by the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea, stretching out beyond white-sand shores. The Aman team are on hand to help you coordinate your exploration of the Phuket coasts by boat or paddleboard, jet-skiing or scuba diving, as your tempo dictates. For those operating at a slower pace, the Holistic Wellness Centre offers ‘tailored treatments, immersions, and personalised fitness programmes to enhance the body and enrich the spirit’ – it’s the ultimate temple of wellness.

Accommodations are wonderfully secluded, with ‘Villas offering consummate privacy’ thanks to coconut palms casting tropical shadows onto private terraces. The alternative form of accomodation, Pavilions, are equally pleasant – think oversized bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, and delicate white orchids dotted throughout. With five restaurants on site – delving into the authentic culinary traditions of Thailand, Japan, Italy, and the Mediterranean – there’s no want for choice here, regardless of how long you’re planning to stay. For an easy lunchtime option, dine al fresco at the Beach terrace, tucking into selection of local Thai specialties alongside wood-fired pizzas – the dress code is super relaxed, feel free to dine in your silk sarong and swimsuit. For something more spruced up, Amanpuri’s main restaurant, Buabok, offers diners an authentic Thai dining experience, shaped by Executive Chef Kannika Jitsangworn. Alternatively, if you’ve a hankering for Japanese, with a local twist, try Nama, while Arva plates up marvellous Italian-style dishes. At Amanpuri your every whim and craving can be catered to.

WEAR THESE Kate 100 Point-Toe Leather Pumps, Christian Louboutin

Londoners returning to the office this week – ensure you put your best foot forward in a pair of slick back-to-business heels. These black leather Kate pumps from Christian Louboutin tick all the proverbial boxes. Destined for repeat appearances, these transeasonal pumps are Italian-crafted to a point-toe silhouette. Set on a high stiletto heel, they add a few inches, yes, but don’t think they’re not comfortable. From office to bar, we’re so glad to have the opportunity to don an office heel once again.
