'Til The Last Drop #24

Welcome to ‘Til The Last Drop: a bi-monthly column in which I, CF Beauty Editor, Olivia Bennett, share my review of a favourite cult product that I (truly) use to the last drop. This week’s featured product is U Beauty The SUPER Hydrator.

I’m messaged by friends and family, at all hours of the day, with recommendation requests for everything from “the budget gel moisturiser that works with combination skin” to “the hard-hitting eye cream that will make Botox a last resort”, and queries on “whether X, Y, and Z from the current trending brand are REALLY worth the hype”.

Such incessant inquiries sparked this column, where I’ll cover best-selling names alongside under-the-radar brands to note. You’ll hear about blow-the-budget products that live up to their hefty price tag and the purse-friendly steals which I unashamedly turn to time and again.

No need to text me, I’ll be sharing all my intel with you right here every other week. Tune in.

On those days when my skin not only needs an ultra strong hit of hydration, but also a boost in luminosity, I reach for U Beauty's aptly named The SUPER Hydrator. It's one of those rare products where you can tangibly see a difference in the appearance of skin instantly upon application. This is accredited to the beauty innovator's patent-pending SIREN Captule Technology enabling antioxidants, vitamins C and E, and peptides to be released intuitively to repair and target dullness and dehydration. Comprising a hefty five weights of hyaluronic acid, which is released throughout the day when skin needs it most, skin remains perennially dewy. The addition of a coterie of emollients ensures a thick and decadent formula –  avocado oil, shea butter, and squalane – to enhance the skin's juicy glow. It makes my skin gleam so much, I can often forgo my foundation. Whilst at the pricier end of the spectrum, a little goes a long way, and the results speak for themselves…
