VISIT THIS The Gagosian Boutique At Burlington Arcade

The Gagosian Boutique in London has opened its doors at the prestigious Burlington Arcade. Featuring an array of offerings, including prints and editions, Gagosian publications, rare books, exhibition posters, and artist-designed objects and apparel such as jewellery, sculpture, and decorative items; in short, the boutique is an Aladdin’s cave of curios. Its opening highlights both the artist Cy Twombly and the fifth anniversary of the gallery’s celebrated print and online magazine, Gagosian Quarterly. This spring, Gagosian will publish its 600th book. Stop by to peruse its shelves for yourself.

TRY THIS Prêt-à-Portea

The Berkeley’s Spring/Summer 2022 Prêt-à-Portea collection is served. Playful and stylish as ever, this season’s selection of couture cakes opens with Oscar de la Renta – a striking orange gown crafted with apricot bavarois, salted Manuka honey and apricot ganache, topped with a meringue frill. Also appearing on your cake stand: a hero handbag from Michael Kors fashioned in Victoria sponge with fresh strawberry jam, alongside Lanvin’s towering floral platform heels (made from chocolate biscuit, painstakingly piped with royal icing), and Richard Quinn’s buttercup yellow gown, immortalised in ice cream. A joyful mashup, tea is served from 1PM-5.30PM every day, priced from £64 per person.

SHOP THIS Petra Palumbo London Pop-Up

British sustainable homeware brand Petra Palumbo is opening a pop-up shop in Mayfair. Operating from Tuesday 26 April until Saturday 30 April, the London pop-up will showcase Palumbo’s full range of carafe and tumbler sets, alongside a wider edit of hand-painted and mouth-blown glassware, which weave in influences from Palumbo’s Lebanese ancestry and the rich heritage of Scotland (the place she calls home). The shop will also stock a wide range of textiles including hand-knitted pieces, as well as the Petra’s needlepoint kits – a proud collaboration with Tapisserie Ltd the specialist brand her Mother founded on Walton Street in 1986.

SLEEP IN THIS Olivia von Halle SS22

Is there anything more luxurious than a silky-soft pyjama set? (That was a rhetorical question.) Where luxe PJs are concerned, Olivia von Halle leads the pack. Crafted from luxurious cuts of silk satin and cotton-silk, we’re major fans of their bold screen-printed designs, contrasting piping, and mother of pearl button embellishing. Wear yours lounging around, or on a big night out – their chameleon capabilities know no bounds.

DRINK THIS Sweeties

Perched on the 10th floor of The Standard hotel, Sweeties offers an off-kilter menu of naturally mood-boosting cocktails. Created in collaboration with mixologists Jack Sotti and Todd Austin, a particular focus is placed on feel-good ingredients. Try their signature serve, the pink Frothy Boi which blends lacto-rhubarb, gin, raspberry, pink pepper, and gut-friendly fermented amazake oats (the drink is presented with a singular amped-up raspberry to nibble on before you sip). The blue-hued Crystal Healing, a concoction of spirulina, pepper dulse seaweed distillate, bergamot, and electrolyte-rich coconut ice also goes down easy, and non-alcoholic versions of most cocktails are also available. Arrive in time for sunset (the skyline views from your velvet-clad seats are pretty epic) and stay until the early hours to enjoy a line-up of international DJs.
