Inside, bespoke chairs woven by artisans in Papua New Guinea decorate the space. It’s true, this hotel is big, but details like this maintain a sense of luxury.

The Rooms
Design is at the heart of this hotel. An earthy colour palette, rustic textures, and materials inspired by nature set the tone, creating a unique identity that feels special. Bedrooms follow a similar thread and are beautifully designed to promote a feeling of relaxation from the minute you step inside. It’s a result of the cooling concrete walls, the black appliances, and the generously proportioned beds – features that are sure to make you grateful for the late-running breakfast when you wake up feeling zen.

The Little Extras
When Le Labo products line the bathroom shelves, you know the details haven’t been forgotten. Expect a crisp bottle of cava on arrival and the option to book a sunset picnic if you’re feeling romantic.
The gym can’t go unmentioned: it might just be one of the best looking ones you’ll step foot in, and even the sandbag-style dumbbells blend in with the property’s tasteful take on ‘rustic’. There’s a spa on site if you’re in need of a massage post workout.
The Food + Drink

The jewel in the crown is OKU’s Japanese fusion restaurant. Prepare to be tempted by everything on the menu and, word to the wise, do ask for advice on what to order; this team know those not to be missed dishes. Flavour, atmosphere, and presentation make for a memorable meal.

Head to the rooftop yoga shala to salute the sun the yogi way and join one of two morning classes per day.
If you’re venturing outside the hotel in the evening, walk to Cala Gracioneta to watch the sunset, pausing at El Chiringuito for drinks and tapas one night.
