To celebrate its 250th anniversary, Veuve Clicquot has opened a haute greasy spoon, Sunny Side Up Café by Veuve Clicquot, on London’s Greek Street. An ode to the joy and optimism that VC stands for, the British café with a stylish twist plates up eggs and Champagne in a variety of manners: opt for the waffles with fried egg , streaky bacon, and confit cherry tomatoes, or the eggs and Marmite soldiers, and pair with a glass of refreshing Yellow Label from Veuve Clicquot. Order a glass or a bottle and the champagne trolley will whizz right over to your table, sharing entertaining anecdotes of the revered champagne house as they pour you a glass of the good stuff.
