VISIT THIS hush on the Road

Womenswear label hush have embarked on a summer tour across the UK, in their charming camper van, landing in London this week. Hop on board to discover their summer collection and add a piece to your at-home and holiday wardrobe, as well as a curated edit of local brands to enjoy from skincare to refreshments. hush will be at Charing Cross station on Thursday and Victoria station on Friday.

SPRITZ THIS Wellbeing Lifeboost, Edeniste

Scent does so much; it evokes emotions, memories, feelings. Audrey Semeraro, who grew up near Grasse in France (aka the home of perfumery) brings to us a mood-enhancing fragrance brand, Edeniste. Together with some of the world’s leading neuroscientists at the cutting edge of olfactory research, they have singled out molecules that have a proven impact on mood. How does this work? In a two-step process, choose your olfactory personality (your foundation), containing a patented “destress” top note (Jasmin Cruel is my favourite); then pick from one of the six actively charged mood-boosting essences (Lifeboost products) to enhance your mood and guide your internal state (from Dream to Wellbeing). Use them alone or layer with emotion when needed.

EAT THIS Beefbar, Mykonos

For those headed for the Greek Islands this summer, it’s likely you’ve already cobbled together a list as long as your arm of great places to eat. Still, we’d like to suggest you add Monte Carlo transplant, Beefbar to your Mykonos list. Within walking distance of the town centre, this place is at its best at golden hour. Nab a table in the shade of a mulberry tree before tucking into the menu’s most-feted plates: American Black Angus Prime, Australian Wagyu WX, and Japanese Kobe beef (the signature kobe beef gyros are a must-order). With the ‘Beef’ portion of the menu accounted for, look to the ‘Reef’ and ‘Leaf’ columns for just-caught seafood and super fresh salads. Lap up views of the Aegean and hang with the house DJ in a setting that is at once elegant and laidback.

VISIT THIS Mercato Alighieri

Alighieri, one of our favourite jewellery brands, is bringing Mercato Alighieri to Television Centre this June. Imagined by founder Rosh Mahtani, the Italian Piazza promises a Florentine feel: ‘stumble across the boutique adorned with jewellery; grab a souvenir at the tabaccheria; and enjoy a gelato at Gelateria Notte.’ Open until 19 June, those looking for an instant Italian hit will leave feeling ‘molto felice’.

TASTE THIS St. John X P. Franco

This Sunday, James Smart of P. Franco will be teaming up with St. JOHN for an extra special Sunday menu consisting of dishes reminiscent of the London stalwart restaurant, with a P. Franco spin. Offering an á la carte menu inside, and a St. JOHN-style picnic across the road in the Round Chapel grounds, the day kicks off at 2PM and will flow through until the early evening at 8PM. There are no reservations, so get down early.
