Hot Hotels: Family Friendly Spots To Visit In Europe This Summer

Summer is a sacred time of year – particularly when spent with family. To ensure you maximise yours, we’ve curated a list of the most family friendly (and luxury-focused) hotels throughout Europe.

Lesante Cape, Zakynthos, Greece

Lesante Cape is the epitome of luxury, and really highlights Greece’s unparalleled natural beauty. Take it all in from the hotel’s terraced infinity pool, complete with impressive ocean views. The kids will be kept busy thanks to a wide variety of amenities – there’s also a team of specialised babysitters to look after them when mum and dad need a night off. The Kids Club – where your little ones can engage in crafts, movies, and games – is open every day from 10AM-6PM, and accepts kids from ages three-12.

The Elysium Hotel, Paphos, Cyprus

The Elysium Hotel’s speciality accommodation for families is impressive. Choose between the Royal Garden Villas and Cyprian Style Maisonettes to ensure there’s room enough for all the family. The children’s amenities here are super, with an entertainment room and outdoor play space providing games, swings, and slides. For the younger ones (ages three-12), The Angel Kids Club has activities including face painting, drawing, and even T-shirt design to keep them occupied. Looking to arrange a family offsite? The guest relations office can plan trips to the zoo, water parks, go-karting centres… you name it.

7 Pines Resort, Ibiza, Spain

7 Pines Resort Ibiza is situated in the most spectacular location, right between Cala Conta and Cala Codolar. Sporting a white-washed exterior, inside you’ll find three restaurants and three bars to enjoy; with views of Es Vedrà, it’s the perfect sunset spot. Within 7 Pines, the Kio House of Kids is designed to educate and entertain little ones, and is modelled after Montessori and Waldorf educational styles, focusing on art, design, communication, language, and personal social development. Accommodating kids of all ages, the club has facilities for children ages zero-14.

CF Top Tip: If you can, pick a room by the children’s pool in the Laguna.

The Gstaad Palace, Gstaad, Switzerland

The Gstaad Palace, located in the enchanting Saanenland region of Switzerland, is fit for royalty. A “Gstaad paradise”, the hotel encapsulates the heritage and grandeur of the finest mountain abodes; no doubt, your VIKs (that’s “Very Important Kids” – as coined by Gstaad Palace) will love it here. The hotel has been known to throw special VIK parties just for children; there’s also a specialised children’s club here called Sammy’s Kids Club. Guests between the ages of five-12 will enjoy spending their days engaging in all sorts of activities  – bouncing castles and a ‘Mini farm’ are just two examples of on-site offerings – and the little ones between, ages of three-five, can come hangout if accompanied by a parent.
