Lydia Forte did not always plan on being part of the family business, but after spending her formative years surrounded by dinner time conversations centred around the logistics of luxury hospitality, something sparked her interest. From her first job in hospitality, to her current role as Director of Food and Beverage for Rocco Forte Hotels, she continues to do inspiring and delicious work, carrying on the fourth generation to this hotel empire. Something she does not take lightly, as she
remains rooted in the mission to help the company strive for romantic nostalgia, as well as cutting edge modernity.

Carla Sersale walks a similar path, marrying into the hospitality business (husband and co-owner Antonio Sersale) where she adopted Le Sirenuse like her own child. After running the hotel now for almost 30 years, she reflected on how different her life would have been if she followed her original plan of criminal law. However, life’s enchanting twists have now granted her the keys to hospitality.

When your name is on the door, the effort and the quality produced must match the execution. Everything is legacy.
