As Anthropologie continues to be the ultra-curated bazaar for any fashion aficionado, the brands they accumulate only help amplify the everyday glamour we are all manifesting. Head to Anthropologie for Kachel, a master in modern classics. We’re talking paisley motifs, billowy skirts and blouses, sleek silks, and rich velvets. The accessories Kachel offers follow in a similar suit, playing off retro troupes, and transforming headbands and scrunchies into absolute showstoppers. Using a rich and luminous colour palette, with silhouettes taking inspiration from the shimmering flappers of the 1920’s, Kachel has nailed understated allure, giving any outfit elevation and personality, and a little dusting of charisma.
Whether you are looking to impress on a sassy and sultry night out, or stun at a summer wedding, Kachel is a feminine dream that celebrates the divine complexities of womanhood.
In celebration of the 20 year anniversary, the culinary stalwart Zuma has popped up in 3 locations – Ibiza, Mykonos and Sardinia – this summer only, bringing the total number of Zuma restaurants to 20. Ibiza Gran Hotel’s sun-drenched terrace hosts the leisurely Japanese concept of izakaya – literally meaning ‘stay-drink-place’ – where you can enjoy the finest dining, gazing at incredible views over the island’s top marina and landmark Old Town. Interiors are inspired by the elements of earth, fire, air and water, with the sushi bar and open kitchen located in the centre of the space, and the blues of the marina and Mediterranean Sea serving as the spectacular backdrop.
Dine on the brand’s signature favourites, spicy beef tenderloin with sesame; black cod marinated in miso; tiger prawns with yuzu; and grilled seabass with chilli and ginger, alongside contemporary cocktails and premium sakes, complementing the dishes’ Japanese flavours. Not only is the rooftop venue an Ibizan hotspot this year, but also a social club of its own with resident DJ so guests can soak up the music and atmosphere on the long summer nights. Balearic bliss.
From a summer of sun and salt water damage, new partnership between Harrods and Rahua comes to the rescue. Literally. This invigorating treatment is the trick if your hair is desperate need for some nourishment. Taking a holistic stance, in line with Rahua’s ethos, the renewal treatment takes you on an Amazonian journey, using the signature Rainforest Grown Symbiotic® products. The treatment takes a satisfying start with a deep scalp cleanse using Rahua’s Scalp Exfoliating Shampoo to remove dead skin cells and product build-up followed by a hydration mask combining Rahua’s wonder product, the award-winning Elixir with a mask which is left to work its magic for 10 minutes under an infrared heat therapy light. Finish with a magnificent blow-dry using Rahua’s plant-powered, all-natural styling products. Your hair will feel completely transformed with a renewed silky texture and a deeply cleansed scalp. Just what the hair doctor ordered.
Home is certainly where the food is in Jose Pizarro’s book The Spanish Home Kitchen. A collection of over 80 best-loved recipes from the heart of chef Jose Pizarro’s Spanish family home, Pizarro travels back to his mother’s house to draw inspiration from the flavours he grew up with and has been generous enough to share these heirloom recipes with us. Bringing together a mouthwatering celebration of authentic Spanish cuisine, Pizarro’s beautiful volume pays homage to his own culinary heritage, from nostalgic childhood favourites that his mother fed the family, to more modern recipes with his own Spanish twist. Iberico pork shoulder in rich tomato sauce to cherries in aguardiente syrup with pistachio ice cream, there’s a recipe here for everyone.
