STAY I’m all about comforts and getting cosy this month, so I’m booking a mini escape to the Gleneagles Townhouse in Edinburgh. BUY In between wanting to go out and enjoy socialising, and still wanting to be comfortable, these stylish, comfortable ATANA Fiorellini pumps are my go-to and a must-buy. Adding to my WATCH list is The Watcher on Netflix: with a stacked ensemble cast, this is about a couple who, after buying their dream home in a New Jersey suburb, were stalked by someone sending them letters signed off “the Watcher”. EAT at Sparrow Italia, from Los Angeles by way of the southern European coast. Cacio e Pepe, served table-side from a Tuscan pecorino cheese wheel? I’m in. TRY A GLOWFHILO treatment at Waterhouse Young, created by in-house skin and aesthetic doctor, Dr Paris. If needles aren’t your vibe, I’m with you on that. But this no peel peel, followed by deeply nourishing profhilo injectables leaves you glowing with zero downtime.

STAY I’m looking forward to visiting St Barts for the first time, and experiencing the beautiful Hotel Christopher for a few days of zen and some winter sun. BUY Reformation’s Remy boots are the perfect style that will take you from day to night. I’ll be wearing with a slip dress and jumper. WATCH Gangs of London season 2. After two long years it’s finally back! (But not for the faint-hearted…) EAT ‘Tis the season for warming comfort foods, and this Italian lentil and chestnut stew is a winner for evening dinner ideas. TRY I’m a reformer pilates convert, so I’ll be visiting the newly opened X-Pilates in Notting Hill for a weekend class.

STAY Cotswolds private rental Kin House is interior design heaven with bathtubs (yes bathtubs!) covered in Fermoie fabrics and colourful tiles at every turn. WATCH I’ll be front row as an electrifying new cast take to the stage for award-winning Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, including It’s A Sin’s Callum Scott Howells as the Emcee. BEAUTY On the hunt for some pre-Christmas zen? I’m betting on Mondrian Shoreditch’s just-launched Lola’s Apothecary candlelit massage. EAT Tuesday jazz nights at Louie London are the perfect excuse to sample the Covent Garden restaurant’s NOLA-inspired cooking and glitzy surrounds. BUY Time to make a start on my Christmas shopping thanks to the glittering winter collection from Jo Malone London. VISIT Christmas at Kew is my unmissable festive pick for dazzling lights and mulled wine – trust me and get in early to avoid the crowds.

STAY Hotel Motto Vienna opened in October 2022, and I’ve got my eye on a stay there this month, mainly to visit the Christmas markets which start from the 11th November. EAT The 1st November was World Vegan Day, and I’m tempted by the Sunday brunch menu at plant-based restaurant, Holy Carrot in Knightsbridge. TRY Bloominghaus’ Flower School‘s one-day masterclass. It includes a tour of the New Covent Garden Flower Market and a flower arrangement class with florist Michal Kowalski. They’re also running festive workshops for Christmas table-scaping and wreath-making. LISTEN In an effort to always keep learning, I’m listening to the BBC’s Teach Me A Lesson podcast. Hosts Greg James and Bella Mackie speak to school teachers who share their knowledge on history, dialogue, science, and more. VISIT The Soho Hotel’s evening in conversation with Jenny Beaven, costume designer for Emma Stone in Cruella, and the couture Dior looks in Mrs Harris goes to Paris.

STAY I’m thinking about a bit of winter sun and looking at Vila Igiea in Palermo. We stayed at this hotel in the height of summer which was amazing. I can’t wait to go back and explore more. BUY Every winter I hunt for a kilt that isn’t too schoolgirl, and The Deck London have the perfect, made to order, option. WATCH I’ve finally got around to watching House of Dragons! EAT/DRINK I love Daphne’s in both the summer and winter. They are very good at seasonal Italian country cooking, and I’m loving their truffle menu at the moment, accompanied by lots of Chianti. BEAUTY With no time for a facial, 111SKIN face masks are coming to my rescue. I love all of their products but the celestial black diamond face mask is my top pick.

STAY I’m looking forward to spending some time with friends this month for a long-overdue catch-up. We’re meeting at No 38 The Park, a revamped regency townhouse in Cheltenham. EAT During our time in Cheltenham, we’re looking forward to trying the new Restaurant Journey, a 12-course tasting menu inspired by traditions and culinary practices from around the world. TRY Sticking to the Cotswolds, I’m making use of a birthday gift voucher, and heading to the Bamford Wellness Spa at Daylesford and opting for the B strong ritual, a restorative treatment designed to nurture and heal stressed joints in the neck, shoulders and more! ‘Tech neck’ be gone! LISTEN Comfort Food with Grace Dent is back! And what a comfort it is. Grace interviews celebrities on all things food, and there are always some delicious tales to tell. BUY It’s that time again when the trusty Weleda Skin Food makes an appearance in my winter skin routine, it’s nourishment without breaking the bank.

STAY I can’t wait to spend the winter holidays in the sun; Story Hotel Rabat in Morocco is the perfect choice to escape cold temperatures. BUY For lovers of silver jewellery, the Nodo ring from Dodo Pomellato is a memorable Christmas gift. READ Frieze was just last month, and while there I picked up “Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists” by Linda Nochlin. This pretty edition was printed for the 50th anniversary of Nochlin’s essay. EAT Coya Restaurant in Mayfair is a great spot for celebratory dinners, and I have a soft spot for the Tostada de Atún. LOVE The Suqqu Multi Skin Protector, with SPF50 and green tea extract, is a daily saviour for my skin.
