Citizen Enfants

The Citizen Enfant's February Hotlist

We’re in the mood for love. For ourselves and for our families.

In this month’s Citizen Enfant’s hotlist, we’ve got pampering getaways with your mini-mes, live orchestra performances, and a little extra love for the mamas. Here’s what we are loving this month.

STAY HERE Pan Pacific London x Bonpoint

Give children the chance to dip their toes into the world of wellness with Pacific London and Maison Bonpoint’s collaboration. Designed for children aged 6-16 years old, a range of unisex skincare treatments and packages provide an opportunity for parents to spend quality time with their little ones, and to treat them to a spot of pampering. Each of the three signature treatments exclusively use Bonpoint’s carefully crafted skincare products, specially formulated for children’s skin using natural and hypoallergenic ingredients. The Fairy Tale Treatment (£100 for 30 mins) has been developed around a whimsical story featuring a fairy, designed to draw a smile whilst also spreading calm;  The Dreamy Treatment (£100 for 30 mins, £180 for 60mins) is an invitation to daydream and escape reality, where parent and child can lie side by side; and The Awakening to Care (£100 for 30 mins) is an educational experience that helps children understand how best to care for and understand their skin. Love for baby, love for mama.

BOOK THIS Revolting Rhymes at the Royal Festival Hall

Watch Roald Dahl’s classic Revolting Rhymes with a live soundtrack from the orchestra. The Philharmonia Orchestra will perform live on stage at the Royal Festival Hall in a family-friendly concert, in front of a large screen showing the two-part animation. The show includes an all-star voice cast featuring Tamsin Greig, Gemma Chan, Rose Leslie, David Walliams, Rob Brydon, and Dominic West as the Wolf. Families can listen to the stories of best friends Snow White and Red Riding Hood, Cindy and boy-next-door Jack, and a Wolf with his own hair-raising tales to tell. Ben Locket’s inventive score is a great introduction to live orchestral music for young children.

GO HERE Brick Week, LEGOLAND Windsor

Brick Week returns to LEGOLAND Windsor for half-term with another series of fun events the whole family will love. From Saturday 11th February until Saturday 4th March, guests will have exclusive access to a variety of rides, attractions and experiences. Whether you are meeting your favourite LEGOLAND Characters, taking part in exclusive LEGO brick building activities or teaming up in one of the build challenges – there is something for every junior builder to enjoy. Families can also take a spin on over 30 rides at the park, including the Flight of the Sky Lion, the City Driving School, Ninjago the Ride, and The Dragon rollercoaster.

DO THIS Mamawell

Exercising throughout pregnancy and beyond can be daunting as it comes with specific guidelines. The Mamawell Method is the baby of Rosie Stockley, whose pre and postnatal fitness specialism has recently expanded from live classes in South-West London to a video programme online, great for wherever you’re based, and ideal for those days when pregnancy – or indeed new baby – has made you weary and you don’t want to leave the house. During pregnancy, the 42-week online course will take you through exactly how to move, what to eat, and how to best prepare for birth and beyond. The postnatal edition includes eight on-demand workouts plus a written guide and email support, should you require it. Expect empowering, endorphin-inducing exercises with multiple adaptations offered, making them inclusive for all.

USE THIS Pipette Baby

The products we choose for our children, and their ingredients, can be essential to keeping them healthy. Squalane is one of the buzziest skincare ingredients right now, but isn’t actually new—it’s just stepping into the spotlight thanks to renewed interest in tried-and-true ingredients, plus an innovative iteration that’s more pure and sustainably-derived. We’re turning to Pipette, a squalane-based skincare brand with a tear-free formula made from plant based ingredients. It’s vegan and PETA-certified to be cruelty free, and free from sulphates and synthetic fragrances so parents won’t need to worry about any bad stuff in this safe baby product range. With bath to nappy, suncare to wipes, and skincare for mums too, it’s a 10 out of 10 from us.

BUY THIS Marie-Chantal's Valentine's Collection

Starting a children’s collection in the year 2000 sprang naturally from Marie-Chantal’s love of classic, timeless design, and the fundamental love of children. This Valentine’s Day, fall even more in love with the collection with pink love hearts, liberty print pieces, knitted pieces, cosy cashmere, and more for your littlest Valentine. Our top pick is an addition to Marie-Chantal’s signature Angel Wing Collection.
