This Week CF Loves: 27.03.23

Parisian escapes to indulgence in Japan’s cherry blossom season, breathable linens to impressive skincare, we’re here to reclaim your shine this week.

This is what we are loving in this week’s hotlist.

STAY HERE Le Grand Mazarin, Paris

After Crillon le Brave in Provence, Lou Pinet in Saint-Tropez and Le Coucou in Méribel, Maisons Pariente has chosen the heart of the Marais for its new 5-star address, Le Grand Mazarin. In this creative and vibrant neighbourhood, Le Grand Mazarin is at it’s epicentre, created by renowned interior architect Martin Brudnizki who has been inspired by Grand Siècle classicism providing a decor oozing character, bathed in natural light, with a concern for perfect comfort, where guests can live in complete privacy. The first urban hotel of the collection embodies the cosmopolitan eclecticism emblematic of the Marais, a jewel box of elegance and sophistication that channels a mixture of styles with a touch of humour. With 61 individually decorated rooms and suites, a spectacular restaurant and bar, and a swimming pool, Maisons Pariente has created an unexpected experience that’s an ode to the City of Light.

WEAR THIS Deiji Studios

Australian label Deiji Studios have been creating the most beautiful linen and cotton pieces, aiming to blur the lines between what we wear at home, and what we step out of the house in. Believing that you are your most confident self when you feel your most comfortable, the founders created a selection of linen sets and robes which are hypoallergenic, breathable, relaxed and perfect for lounging in, but also chic enough to be seen in outside. They have since expanded into oversized poplin dresses, cotton basics and quilted co-ords. A breathable pyjama set you’ll be able to dress up in the summer with a pair of sandals and gold drop earrings—what’s not to like?

USE THIS Natura Bisse Diamond Luminous Range

Imagine luminosity from the inside out, where radiance is a given, renewal is a daily ritual, and your glow is ever present. The Diamond Luminous Collection has been created specifically to regulate and fade hyperpigmentation, whatever the underlying cause and whatever your skin tone, also possessing impressive antioxidant, moisturising and firming properties. Our favourite? The daily cream which corrects uneven and dull skin tone, making the skin more radiant. Its silky texture delivers intense hydration for a flawless and glowing complexion. Reclaim your shine.

EAT HERE Sakura Season at KOYN

Take a walk through cherry blossom season at KOYN, the Japanese Izakaya from Samyukta Nair on Grosvenor Street. Celebrating their first Sakura season, KOYN presents a window exhibition of ‘Hanami’ from photographer Rohan Shrestha, capturing Kyoto during cherry blossom season, alongside introducing Hanami Hako. The light from these floods through the windows, casting a pink glow across the dining room. Alongside this, executive chef Rhys Cattermoul has created Hanami Hako: an oak chest filled with artisanal ceramic vessels, featuring six dishes such as Chilean sea bass with kuromame miso, and Japanese A5 wagyu with cherry nakitori.

LONDON, UK - 22 JULY, 2014: Royal Art collage in London

GO HERE Spain and the Hispanic World, Royal Academy of Art

From masterpieces by Goya and Velázquez to dazzling objects from Latin America, head to the Royal Academy of Arts to experience its new exhibition, ‘Spain and the Hispanic World’. Founded in New York in 1904, the Hispanic Society Museum & Library is home to the most extensive collection of Spanish art outside of Spain. Presented for the first time in the UK, it will offer visitors a chance to trace the great diversity of cultures and religions – from Celtic to Islamic, Jewish and Christian – that have shaped and enriched what we today understand as Spanish culture. And, with the exhibition remaining open until 9pm on Fridays, you can top the experience off with tasty Pintxos courtesy of Spanish chef José Pizarro in the RA’s The Poster Bar.
