EXPLORE THIS Fortnum & Mason

Fortnum & Mason revolutionises the 3rd floor of its historic flagship, 181 Piccadilly, creating an experiential hub dedicated to extraordinary food and drink. In a purpose-built Food and Drink Studio, you can take part in customer workshops, live cooking demonstrations, and experimentation in a new multi-use kitchen. The space also plays host to over 100 of Fortnum’s chefs as a production kitchen to create, taste and master recipes, supplying the Piccadilly store with Fortnum’s classics such as Scotch Eggs and Beef Wellingtons. Ideal for anyone with an interest in food and drink innovation, this interactive space allows you to engage in tastings, live food-theatre, and the discussions and co-creation that form the backbone of the progressive food and drink industries with a programme of events hosted by both emerging and established chefs and pioneers from around the globe. At the far end of the 3rd floor, you’ll find the ‘Made in Piccadilly’ Distillery in partnership with The Craft Distilling Business, creating two brand new small-batch Gins – a Dry Gin and a Pink Gin. You’ll also find a dedicated area to shop their luxury wicker hampers, and a Cook Shop and Book Shop.

TREAT YOURSELF HERE Limoz Logli

Highly coveted colour specialist Limoz Logli opens his new salon tucked away in Ives Street in Chelsea. Over many years, Limoz has developed his Signature Colour, a colouring service that is a subtle, lasting way of lightening your hair that he insists is neither balayage nor ombre. The lightening process is done so precisely and delicately, that he creates a harmonious blend of colour by hand painting fine lustrous layers of highlights and tonal corrections, that many colourists take months to achieve. Aside from this, enjoy signature blow dries, NanoKeratin Nourishing Anti-Fade Smoothing treatments and more, with a marble bar serving freshly ground coffee; sit back, relax and let the team of experts take care of you. Known for his trademark “perfectly undone” look and natural hair expertise, it’s unsurprising that this salon is always full, and you can often spot smug, perfectly preened clients stepping out of the doors. It’s clear that what Logli doesn’t know about hair is not worth knowing.

WEAR THIS La Double J First Denim Collection

For the very first time, La DoubleJ is delivering its joyful vision across a collection of high-end denim. The Milanese brand, known for its heart-lifting fashion and haute homeware from founder, J.J. Martin, debuts a 6-piece preview of the line’s heroine styles today, with the second collection launching in September. With joy sewn directly into the seams, the line is an elevated approach to the everyday staple, featuring over-dyed and laser-printed denim arriving in intricate hand-placed prints and all-over patterns alike, as well as novelty takes on the classic blue jean, with intricate embellishments and jacquard embroidered details. Take The Fancy Crop Jeans, aptly named, arriving in an all-figure-flattering ankle crop with a contrast-dyed removable feathered cuff for high-vibe versatility; or The Flare Jeans, a modern update on an iconic bell-bottomed shape, arriving in stretch denim with an original, hand-placed laser-printed pattern.

GO HERE Mission

Disruptive new space Mission opens just in time for April’s stress awareness month. The largest yoga and movement space in Europe, a derelict 15,000 square foot warehouse on Fashion Street in Spitalfields has been transformed into a sensational wellness space with five studios, three treatment rooms, a gym, sauna, retail space, a roof terrace overlooking the City skyline and a top-floor restaurant called Maene. Mission’s Founder Genny Wilkinson Priest, has set out to re-define how yoga is taught and practiced combining yoga with complementary and innovative movement classes. This is in line with Mission’s belief that wellness in body and mind is best attained through balance and variety – all led by personal choice. With a tiered membership scheme, yoga is made more accessible. As summer approaches, unwind after class together, and enjoy a glass of wine or non-alcoholic cocktail on the 2,000 sq ft sunny terrace overlooking the City’s spectacular skyline.
