City Shopping Guides: London

Klaudia Kedziora, better known as Klaudia Cloud, is fast becoming London’s latest IT girl thanks to her quirky style and infectious personality.

Here, Klaudia shares some of her favourite places to shop in London including sustainable boutiques and cool concept stores, as well as where to stop for lunch, dinner or coffee.

Best area or street for shopping…

I love shopping around East London. You can find everything from designer and vintage to high street. I think the variety of shops there is possibly the best in London. I love visiting A.P.C. for modern wardrobe basics and Modern Society for a curated selection of homeware. Glassworks London is also a must-visit, it offers a unique mix of leading trends and timeless basics.

Where can we find the best vintage shops…

I get quite overwhelmed with vintage stores with endless racks of clothes. I really love shopping at Mind charity shops which stock a lot of vintage pieces. I found a Givenchy dress for £200 and a Chanel jacket (that was a little more pricey but for the quality, it was absolutely worth it). They also have mid-range sections that include DKNY, Victor & Ralph, Cavalli and more. Annie’s Ibiza on Canarby Street has an amazing vintage collection, especially if you’re looking for one-of-a-kind pieces for a special occasion.

Your favourite local brands or boutiques?

I recently discovered Lowie, a sustainable store in Herne Hill and am in love with the fun and colourful collections they stock – it made me very excited for spring! Another new discovery is Mercantile London in Spitalfields market. There’s a great mix of established brands that we all know and love, as well as smaller emerging brands.

Souvenir to take home?

It has to be tea from Fortnum and Mason.

The best place to treat yourself is…

KOL restaurant in Marylebone. It serves amazing, almost too-good-to-eat food and a great selection of drinks. It’s a modern Mexican restaurant with a very calming atmosphere and great interiors. Perfect for date night or dinner with friends.

Best store design?

The LOEWE store on New Bond Street always surprises me with its over-the-top interiors. Each time I visit or walk past the store it pulls me in.

Best pit stop for lunch or coffee?

Aime Leon Dore on Broadwick Street is the cosiest coffee shop with arguably the best coffee in town.
