Getting ready to feel the sun of St. Tropez? Us too. Alongside the perfect bottled French Riviera, we have the essential packing item for your getaway.

Cultural fashion escapades (as we approach Coronation Month), London’s newest and likely most-popular roof terrace and coveted candles, this is what we are loving in this week’s hotlist.

VISIT THIS Crown to Couture, Kensington Palace

London’s Kensington Palace’s State Apartments have historically been the hub of royal court occasions and lavish parties, seeing numerous style icons pass through in the years. The Apartments are now playing host to a major exhibition of red carpet couture alongside historic treasures in “Crown to Couture”, examining and celebrating how fashion from the royal Georgian court has inspired red-carpet catwalk designs in the 21st century. Through a carefully curated selection of more than 200 pieces, including one-of-a-kind creations worn by Lizzo, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga et al, these formal rooms are transformed by the thoughtful side-by-side displays of cross-century accessories, jewels and clothing; each space centred around a particular theme. Guests will learn the lengths that stars and royals go to to get noticed, as well as the more subtle messages that clothing can deliver, and discover sources of design inspiration for designers and couturiers.

This season Boteh casts you back to a simpler time – a gentle reminder of paradise found in nostalgia & newness. Founder Amelia Mather was the creative vision to some of Australia’s most loved labels before founding her own label, which embodies a sense of bohemian wanderlust and adventure. EAT HERE Dimsum Terrace at Harrods

As the weather warms, the new terrace at Harrods will no doubt prove to be one of London’s most desirable al fresco spots. The Dim Sum Terrace is inspired by the teahouses of China, serving traditional Cantonese dumplings, ideal for a quick refuel during shopping, a long lunch with friends or a sharing sundowner in the evening. All of dumplings are handmade by the in-house chefs each morning, a mixtture of well-loved classics alongside some more unusual dumplings, from the decadent dim sum of scallop and prawn siu mai topped with foie gras to lighter bites such as fragrant lobster and coriander dumplings. The menu also features typical Cantonese options, a range of baked and fried dumplings and a twist on the classic Taro dumpling.
