This Week CF Loves: 24.04.23

Sunshine, spas and summer linens fills this week’s Citizen Femme hotlist.

From our favourite swimwear brand popping up to open-air movie nights in Beverly Hills to a luxury spa treatment on wheels with one of the most scenic landscapes, this is what we are loving in our weekly hotlist.

VISIT THIS Prada Caffè, Harrods

The iconic fashion house Prada opens up its doors at Harrods bringing a taste of Milan to London. This isn’t Prada’s first culinary endeavour, since the house acquired a storied Milanese pastry shop in 2014 and opened the West Anderson-designed Bar Luce in the city in 2015. The London cafe’s interior of walls, ceilings and velvet-upholstered armchairs are blanketed in the brand’s signature green hue, and the floors reproduce the black-and-white chequered floor, to mirror the historic Prada boutique on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, one of Milan’s oldest patisseries. Located at the corner of Hans Road in London, the Prada Caffè is accessed via a mint green latticed storefront that complements Harrods’s Edwardian baroque terracotta facade. An all-day dining menu is on offer from breakfast to evening cocktails, and provides a subtle, modern take on Italian tradition, with sandwiches and risotto sitting alongside buffalo mozzarella and salmon and crab dishes and spritz – and negroni-based aperitifs complementing the list of signature cocktails.

ENTERTAIN WITH THIS Summerill & Bishop

Enjoy al fresco moments with legendary table outfitters Summerill & Bishop who launch their new table linen collection this week, Le Jardin des Roses. An homage to a stalwart of the English garden, the Rose, think of the collection as your own rose garden at the table, made for escapist day-dream dinners and sensuous suppers, without leaving the comfort of home. A timeless table linen collection to see you through alfresco moments in Summer and cosier times in Winter when you want classic beauty. The collection comprises a tablecloth, available in three sizes, and matching napkins, on 100% pure French linen with rambling roses in shades of the softest pink, nature’s most romantic flower, arranged in wild, free-flowing formation.

GO HERE Dior Spa aboard the Royal Scotsman, a Belmond train

Two beautiful brands come together in the most romantic setting possible. Belmond has teamed up with Parfums Christian Dior to create the Dior Spa Royal Scotsman: a carriage completely dedicated to wellness. Inspired by Christian Dior’s love of Scotland, the new spa is designed to be a luxurious cocoon of serenity on the rails, designed to offer guests a tranquil space to unwind and rejuvenate as the train makes its way through Scotland’s majestic peaks and dramatic valleys. The Dior Spa Royal Scotsman houses two lacquered treatment rooms, restyled with Dior’s burgundy toile de Jouy motif. The menu offers three treatments that can be enjoyed before or after an outdoor excursion. The “D-Travel” body massage is a deep, slow massage that eliminates toxins, releases tensions, and relieves pain. Inspired by the Scottish seasons, the “D-Elements” full-body treatment begins with the application of semi-precious hot stones on the back, followed by massage. For the face, the “D-Highlands” treatment is inspired by Kobido facial massage techniques and enhanced with the Dior Prestige line, a rejuvenating facial sculpting massage. An incomparable adventure, bringing savoir-faire and lifestyle together in an ultimate travel dream.

WATCH THIS Cult Hollywood Classics at The Beverly Hills Hotel

Dorchester Collection’s legendary The Beverly Hills Hotel has announced their new poolside movie series with open-air screenings of cult classics to take place over the summer months. Movies such as Breakfast at Tiffany’s, La La Land and Clueless will be on show once a month for guests to enjoy in the balmy Californian evenings. The hotel, the first historic landmark of Beverly Hills City and an LA hotspot, has long been synonymous with old Hollywood glamour. Steeped in movie history, it has previously hosted stars such as Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor, and even appeared in iconic films such as Pretty Woman and Saving Mr Banks. Located at the poolside and surrounded by views of LA’s famous palm trees, enjoy and-crafted cocktails, culinary delights and private cabanas.
