The Citizen Enfant's May Hotlist

Keeping kids entertained is high on the agenda. With Easter break and half term, and summer holidays looming, we want to make sure the calendar has enough to keep them occupied.

From theatre to climbing, shopping to best beauty buys, and of course, making sure mum-to-be and new mums are taken care of, this is what we are loving in our Citizen Enfant’s May hotlist.

USE THIS Bamford Baby

Baby love is a very special thing, and parents want to use only the best on precious new-born skin. Bamford has now entered the baby market with a curated collection of everyday bath and body essentials, as well as soft cotton pieces to cocoon your little one. Taking inspiration from rebirth and springtime at Daylesford Farm, the playful packaging features designs in delicate Cotswolds green introducing characters inspired by Bamford’s flock of merino sheep, Clover the Lamb and her mother Cloud. GO HERE Sharky & George, Bulgari Hotel 

Sharky & George, the creative events company which aims to find the fun in everything have partnered with The Bulgari Hotel, London for a royal brunch and extravaganza, including live music and themed children’s entertainment such as crown making and coronation cup decorating, and games such as changing of the guard and musical thrones. Families will be able to watch a live screening of the coronation all day long in the hotel’s Private Cinema, with proceedings taking place from 10 am to 5 pm.

The only physical play and learning space in London that’s worked with a Froebel specialist, The Wild has created  a new developmental and creative activity space designed to ensure sensory engagement and simulation is at the forefront providing maximum stimulation through sensory touchpoints, colours and shapes. Perhaps the coolest hangout spot for young climbers to have fun with climbing wall featuring two LED training boards and a circuit board with over 50 moves. During the week the space is also available for free 90-minute slots of play for children. If you feel like your kids are constantly driving you up the wall – take them to The Wild to climb up some real walls.

BOOK THIS BBC CBeebies X Twelfth Night, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre

CBeebies has partnered with Shakespeare’s Globe for a performance of Twelfth Night. Aimed at pre-school children and their families, Featuring CBeebies’ favourite stars, four performances will be recorded in front of a live audience in London’s iconic open-air Globe Theatre before airing on the BBC CBeebies Channel and BBC iPlayer in 2024. Guaranteed to include plenty of songs, dancing and joining in. Extend your experience with a visit to one of our rehearsal rooms to take part in an interactive workshop for the whole family with activities and games designed to draw out elements of the play’s language, characters and themes (£10). Ideal for ages three to five, the workshop will be led by the Globe’s actors, teachers and directors.
