On a beautiful London summer evening, the courtyard of Rosewood London transformed into a sun-drenched corner of the Côte d’Azur. This was no ordinary terrace launch; it was a moment. And, as with all truly chic moments, it began with women.
Hosted by Citizen Femme, we kicked off the summer’s Villa Minuty terrace, inspired by the Provençal spirit of Château Minuty and an unmistakable Riviera nonchalance. Seated among London’s most discerning tastemakers – founders, creatives, editors – there was a particular energy when women gather not to compete, but to connect. Conversations flowed as easily as the rosé, and plates of Mediterranean fare arrived in plenty.
At the helm of it all, Tessa Gorman, the quietly formidable Managing Director of Rosewood London, embodied modern hospitality. With nearly two decades in ultra-luxury travel, her leadership has ushered in a new era for the hotel. Here, that experience felt deeply personal: warm, thoughtful, and crucially, female-led.

There was an ease to the evening and yet, beneath the vision of it all, there was purpose. Citizen Femme has long championed travel, and life, through a female lens, creating spaces where women feel both inspired and empowered. This terrace launch dinner was a natural extension of that ethos: a reminder that luxury is not just where you go, but who you share it with.
As the evening came to a close, one could almost forget the postcode. I suppose, the magic of Villa Minuty: a transportive pause in the middle of London. This was an invitation to do exactly that – a chance to sit, sip, and savour the season.
