This Week CF Loves: 20.05.24

Music and Minuty are on our agenda this week. Hollywood lips with this tinted lip collaboration for the ultimate summer pout and the coolest sunglasses just in time for holiday season.

And if you just want to get away from it all (with or without friends), embrace your free-spirit with this Formentera retreat, luxury, wellness and sun to bring you back calm and collected. This is what we’re loving in this week’s Citizen Femme hotlist.

DRINK HERE “Villa Minuty”, Rosewood London

If you could bottle the summer and drink it, I think it would be a pale rosé from the South of France. And where better to break open that bottle and celebrate rosé season than Rosewood London. They have brought the French Riviera lifestyle to their transformed terrace “Villa Minuty” with a coastal restaurant vibe inspired by the iconic Côte d’Azur and reminiscent of Château Minuty’s location on the verdant hillsides of the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle. Alongside the beloved wine brand, enjoy a pairing menu of Côte d’Azur-inspired dishes from griddled tiger prawns with garlic butter to courgette flower stuffed with feta. As part of this terrace takeover, Villa Minuty is also hosting two Minuty Vineyard Feasts over the summer (Saturday 29 June and Saturday 17 August), where you can enjoy live music, a three-course sharing menu – all paired with Minuty’s latest vintages.

BUY THESE Reformation x Jimmy Fairly

Reformation has teamed up with iconic French eyewear brand Jimmy Fairly on a capsule collection of sunglasses, just in time for summer. The capsule collection encapsulates Ref’s signature, vintage-inspired designs with Jimmy Fairly’s quality styles and wearable silhouettes comprising of 5 different frames, in plenty of colourways, featuring your everyday go-to pair, and bright, fun tones that will add a pop of colour. Put all eyes on our classic frames and not on whatever questionable behaviour you might get up to in them.

TRY THIS Augustinus Bader x Sofia Coppola - The Tinted Balm with TFC8®

We’re going Hollywood whilst devouring the Cannes Film Festival content. With that in mind, Augustinus Bader has collaborated with award-winning director Sofia Coppola to create the ultimate lip tint in three shades. Why Sofia Coppola, perhaps one of the most revered directors working today? Her favourite sheer lipstick from Monoprix in Paris was discontinued. Inspired by this, her love for the brand and its Rich Cream, and the strawberry-stained lips of Nastassja Kinski’s Tess of the d’Urbervilles, the brand’s first foray into beauty with this lip balm came about. The Tinted Balm enhances your lips with a sheer wash of colour that builds with each application. Formulated with a hydrating blend of plant- based butters and oils, including Shea butter, Vitamin E and Candelilla wax, each application moisturises the lips and protects them from environmental stressors. Ideal for a natural summer glow.

BOOK THIS Teranka, Formentera

Accessible only by boat, and perched amidst a canopy of pine trees, Teranka is a bohemian hideaway on the corner of Formentera, the smallest and most southerly island of the Balearics, and only moments from the island’s Migjorn coast. Notable for where poets, pirates and punks are rumoured to have found their spiritual homes, this spot is ideal for burnout, and those looking for a break away, or just time to embrace your free-spirit. Take advantage of Teranka’s 2024 programme of visiting luminaries, rotating on a weekly basis, and leading sessions including daily group meditations and yoga and pilates classes, available to all guests as part of their stay. This year’s highlights include master bodyworkers Buzz Lambert, Christophe Cos and Wanda Lammers, kobido facialist Lija Kruus and breathworker and Ayurvedic specialist Elky Scior. For those looking for deeper elements of personalisation, the in-house team develops bespoke retreat itineraries for specific goals and intentions. Under the name, Essence of Flow, the retreats drift with the energy of the island and offer activities such stargazing, sound baths and cathartic breathwork with revered practitioner and hypnotherapist, Annika Lefevvre while Life Coach, Matti Mahl will accompany guests through hikes and ice bath immersions. To inspire moments of grounding throughout the day, the hotel has also partnered with Chris Connors – wellbeing consultant and Founder of OPO, to create a meditation app and digital portal which offers three self-guided immersive sound meditations produced exclusively for Teranka.
