How do you start your days?
I always start with positive affirmations, a soya latte, and a to-do list at the ready!
What’s your go-to uniform?
Jeans, a bodysuit, a blazer, and chunky gold earrings.

Describe your workspace…
My office is very zen, and I love walking into it. I always have incense burning so it smells good, and I love things to be very tidy – I genuinely think it helps you to feel calmer and more productive. I love dark wood and neutral tones but with a pop of orange in an ode to MANIFEST.
Define your aesthetic…
Minimal yet warm.
Identify something in your workspace that’s special to you…
Probably my stack of books on the shelves. It makes me feel really proud.
What are your workplace essentials?
A laptop stand – you can look at your screen at eye level so you aren’t breaking your back every day.
What time of day are you at your most creative?
In the morning. When I’m book-writing I always write in the morning; after 2pm my brain doesn’t fire as fast.
Work takes you most frequently to..
All over the world! It’s really exciting getting to travel to so many places, like LA, Sweden, Thailand, Hungary and more. The book is in 39 languages and 52 territories – meaning I always have an excuse to travel!

What’s your go to lunch order?
There is a great toastie place close to me, and my favourite is the chicken and cheese toastie with gluten-free bread. Yum!
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Hearing all the incredible stories from people who have read the book and made positive changes in their lives. It is so special getting those DMs and emails, or meeting people in real life who share their journey with me.
And the most challenging?
I think probably just trying to balance the different projects alongside motherhood.

Where are you from originally?
Iraq.
What was your first job?
Brand manager for Ciroc Vodka at Diageo.
What first sparked your interest in manifestation?
A podcast I listened to in 2018. From then I became obsessed with the idea that you could use your mind to change your reality.

Do you have a mentor or inspirational figure that has guided or influenced you?
I’ve been inspired by lots of different people for different reasons, including Wayne Dyer, Oprah, Brené Brown, Jay Shetty, Gwyneth Paltrow and Tony Robbins.
What were some hurdles you had to overcome in the early days as a self-development coach, public speaker and author?
Oh gosh, so many. Firstly the nerves and self-doubt, whenever you try something for the first time you are convinced you’re bad at it. I thought my book was terrible before it came out! I also had a lot of rejection, but I was relentless and never gave up.

What’s the most important business lesson you’ve learned?
To control my emotions and not be so reactive.
The best advice you’ve ever received?
Enjoy the journey.
What are you manifesting right now?
Fun this summer!
You’ve recently launched MANIFEST for Kids and your second book MANIFEST Dive Deeper. What’s next for Roxie?
Another book is coming in March 2025. I’m writing it at the moment and I am so excited about it. It’s not on manifesting, but it’s about self-development and is a really natural progression.
