The Stylish Children's Fashion Brands To Know This Autumn

Fashion month is in full swing, but here at Citizen Enfants it’s stylish kids’ wear that we love the most. 

Children’s fashion has never been better. With amazing new brands and collections popping up regularly, parents are have plenty to choose from to ensure their little ones are we well-dressed as they are in cool, clever, yet practical clothing that is designed for play. From the fun bright designs created by Mini Rodini and Scandi-chic Wheat, to classic French label Bonpoint and the latest addition to the scene, Petit Sezane, here are some of the most stylish children’s brands to know this Autumn.

Liewood

Danish brand Liewood portrays the modern parenting dream with their design-focused childrenswear and family lifestyle aesthetic that is both stylish but attainable. Clothing is functional and sustainable, and – crucially – durable enough to keep kids warm and dry in the coldest of weather. The look is fun with a cute edge, considered and easy-to-wear and the colour palette is a perfect – it’s the epitome of Scandi cool. The Mini & Me collection launching this October will be an exciting new addition that mums will no doubt want to shop for themselves.

Petit Sézane

One of the most eagerly awaited childrenswear collections ever, the newly launched kids’ line from Sézane is, as hoped by the grown-up brands fans, a children’s wardrobe version of the mainline of French-girl classics. Features include ruffled collars, tomboy tees and sweaters, chic denim, fluffy knitted cardigans and charming, nostalgic dresses for three to 12-year-olds plus a small but perfectly formed baby capsule collection. Only available since early September, it’s already a firm favourite and selling out quickly.

Mini Rodini

Unique, fun prints are Mini Rodini’s signature thing. They’re creative, quirky, bright and bold. For all the cool kids from newborn to 11-years, with many unisex designs. All organic and recycled, the mostly casual collections are comfortable to wear making them a favourite with children and parents alike. The new autumn collection ‘Agatha’ is inspired by the adventures of Agatha Christie. A modern twist on classic tales.

Lacuna Child

Simple and well-made, the clothes designed by Lacuna Child are the kinds of staples you want in a child’s wardrobe as they can be easily thrown on and co-ordinate with everything. From cute little boiler suits and hoodies to classic knitwear and unisex checked shirts and Bretton tops, these are reasonably priced, durable pieces that are made to work hard (playing a lot can be tough on clothes!) and be worn time and time again. A small British brand, Lacuna is not that well known but should be.

J&Josh

London-based kidswear brand J&Josh is inspired by the owners two sons and her struggle to find beautiful, brilliant clothes for them to wear. The focus is on cool, simple, comfortable, but also practical, high quality and affordable pieces for boys aged two to 14 that last and can be passed down to siblings and cousins. They fill a gap in the market for stylish boys’ clothes that little chaps actually want to wear. A brand every parent of a son should know about.

Organic Zoo

The mission behind Organic Zoo is based on a simpler way of living. Minimal, comfortable and high quality is the goal for this collection. The clothes, from newborn to 5-years-old, are effortlessly beautiful yet designed to be practical for everyday play and they pop straight in the washing machine. Bobo Choses

Lively, bright and with a slightly retro vibe, Bobo Choses is a cool Spanish import that’s loved by in-the-know parents. With flagship stores in Barcelona, it’s also available in the UK and caters for babies right up to tweens with shapes and colour palettes that are designed to be gender neutral. Oversized sweatshirts, bold logos and colourful prints are their thing, but you’ll also find great co-ordinating accessories such as watches, socks, bags and trainers.

Bonpoint

The luxury French fashion house is our first stop for timeless, elegant, sophisticated childrenswear. It’s the ultimate destination for an effortlessly chic preppy look with baby pieces considered treasured heirlooms.
