This Week CF Loves: 07.10.24

We’re top to toe taking care of ourselves this week. From this wellness residency for your facial needs, to this footcare line, plus we’re keeping it clean with Sober October.

Your fill of arts is here, with the arrival of London’s greatest art fair. And planning ahead for ski season? Shop now with the launch of this new collection before it sells out. This is what we’re loving in this week’s Citizen Femme hotlist.

BOOK THIS The Savoy Wellness Residency Series

London is not short of great spas and wellness activations. But we’re always hungry for the next hot thing. London’s original luxury hotel, The Savoy, has announced its first Wellbeing Residency Series, with a quarterly rotating residency featuring an exclusive partnership with top spa and wellness experts. It kicks off with a favourite, Dr. David Jack, whose philosophy centres on simplifying the approach to skincare, delivering optimum skin health in the most efficient way. Available every Friday, hotel guests and London locals will be able to book an exclusive Dr. David Jack x Savoy Facial, ideal for city-weary skin, designed to target all the signs of ageing and environmental stress. Benefits include awakening and revitalising the eye area with advanced Tri-Polar Radiofrequency, deep and long-lasting hydration, firming of the complexion and facial contours, and reducing inflammation and skin sensitivity.

WEAR THIS Perfect Moment AW24

It’s never too early to consider ski season. Chalets get booked up quickly, and so does the best looking skiwear. Perfect Moment releases its AW24 today, a fusion of future-thinking and iconic heritage. The collection comprises four capsule edits: Chamonix, Trojena, St. Moritz and Sun Valley, plus an exclusive standalone collaboration, Ice Chalet. Chamonix sees block colours, houndstooth and chevrons in the signature red, white and blue colour palette, pixelated, twisted and digitised; Trojena is high-shine liquid-look fabrics, with bursts of orange, leather and a black-on-black houndstooth; St. Moritz offers a seamless transition between ski and aprés, snow white layers sit alongside a rich, deep aubergine in tactile textures; and, Sun Valley is a colour-drenched ode to the ‘70s, resurfacing archival prints from the very first Perfect Moment collection. Pay special attention to the signature Aurora ski pant, the best-selling “icon” style that has become synonymous with the label and is now available in 3 different fits, with two length options in the classic black colourway. Balance perfectly fused with fun.

TAKE A LOOK AROUND HERE Frieze London 2024

Frieze London is once again set to take place in Regent’s Park, kicking off this week, from October 9th through 13th, and it appears 2024 is a year of change. There is a new floor plan, resetting the balance between blue-chip and smaller galleries within the fair, while this year’s program promises a reorientated focus on curated sections including the artist-selected solo booths. Putting emerging galleries first, Frieze London has moved the Focus section to the entrance of the fair. For the upcoming edition, the likes of Hurvin Anderson, Lubaina Himid, Rashid Johnson, and Yinka Shonibare have selected younger artists to platform, including Peter Uka, Magda Stawarska, Rob Davis, and Nengi Omuku. There will also be a new themed presentation, “Smoke,” organised by Hammer Museum curator Pablo José Ramírez, alongside the usual booths from more than 160 galleries. As always, London’s museums and galleries will stage plenty of exhibitions, happenings and parties across the city, making Frieze Week a showcase of the best that London’s art world has to offer. So if you’re not the art-fair type, then simply head to your favourite gallery or take a stroll around Mayfair, Peckham, Soho, Shoreditch or Bethnal Green to get your fill of arts and culture this week.

USE THIS  BIRKENSTOCK Care Essentials line

Whether you’re a lover or hater of the brand, BIRKENSTOCK are admittedly incredibly comfortable, given the long-standing heritage of orthopaedic expertise and 250 years of traditions in shoemaking. Now they are all about foot care instead of foot wear. The brand has dropped the BIRKENSTOCK Care Essentials line for feet in celebration of its anniversary. The portfolio comprises carefully crafted foot care products to relax, exfoliate and care with six key products: an exfoliating pumice stone, a buttery foot balm, a tension-relieving foot and leg cream, a quick-absorbing body oil, and calming bath salts. All products are certified vegan and COSMOS Natural using 100% natural ingredients. With fragrances like cedarwood, blood orange, and eucalyptus, each product offers a sensorial journey toward holistic wellness. If you’re going without socks, it means baring your feet, so foot maintenance is essential, much like this new line.

DRINK THIS CleanCo

Cheers to sober October. Much like Dry January, this has become a a prominent lifestyle trend for people to experiment with cutting back or eliminating alcohol. With the global rise in non-alcoholic beverage options (plus, the great feeling the next day), there’s so many reasons people are seeking balance and moderation in their drinking habits. Clean Co is a great brand to turn to. The brand has created six alcohol free bottles: a London gin, Clean G (plus a rhubarb flavoured gin, Clean G Rhubarb and a pink gin, Clean G Pink), a rum, Clean R, a vodka, Clean V Spiced Apple and a tequila, Clean T. The non-alcoholic spirits are free from sugars and sweeteners, as well as being gluten and lactose free, plus they’re vegan. The spirits also have less than 15 calories per serve. So you can enjoy a crisp G&T or a classic Old Fashioned, perhaps a fun margarita, no guilt, just fun. Drink today, embrace tomorrow.
