Felicity McGahan launched Nere with the aim to make travelling chic from the minute you start packing with a colourful range of packing essentials and luggage.
Ever watched the endless carousel of checked luggage spin round, struggling to recognise which of the grey and black suitcases is actually yours? Nere is amping up the style-factor when travelling, with a generous range of colourful travel items so you’ll always look stylish and stand out from the airport crowds.
With a penchant for travel herself (which includes chasing two summers a year, in Australia and Europe) Felicity McGahan knows a thing or two about the hottest spots to unwind year-round. Here, we get to know the CEO of Australia’s largest travel and fashion brand, from where Felicity finds her travel inspiration to where she is looking forward to visiting next.
What is the first trip you remember taking?
To New York. It was so eye opening to see and experience how big the city (and the world) was as a 20 year old.

What’s been your most memorable trip and why?
Italy because it’s just such a special place that allows you to go back in time. We also took the kids and travelled around Italy as a family. We left with life long memories that I’ll always keep with me.
Where or what is your escape?
I love to escape to Europe during the Australian winter. This way I can enjoy two summers a year which is an amazing feeling.

Planning, planning, planning: your trip, your outfits and your adventures. Deciding when to catch up with friends around the world is a big one too.
If I could go anywhere tomorrow I’d go to…
Back to Lake Como. I’d hop on a boat and just enjoy wherever the day takes me, whether an activity, a destination, or a restaurant!
