If you’ve been to New York, you’ll know it’s one of the most electric cities in the world. And no city’s skyline conjures as much energy and ingenuity, creativity and bravado as New York City. It is built on a stone that, from what I have read, and certainly feel, gives so much energy that keeps it so alive.
Citizen Femme landed in New York in October, talking positive travel with the excellent Scott Dunn and powerhouse Indré Rockefeller, amongst a group of some of New York’s most creative women. What an exciting and enthralling evening of inspiring conversation, exploring trends in travel, where we need to book in 2025 and how we can really ‘Travel with a Purpose’. This is the phrase I’ve decided to adopt, how can we find positivity in our daily lives and leave a positive impact on ourselves and our environment plus the future. Particularly something to think about given the eventful upcoming week for our friends stateside.
This also applies to how we adapt to the festive season which is in full throes now. Christmas lights are coming on this month, gift guides are going out (ours included), no doubt some exciting restaurant bookings and catch-ups (make sure to book this one especially) and sunny or ski escapes for exciting getaways. We’ll be here this month with plenty of winter holiday inspiration. The team is taking November seriously catching shows, enjoying some stylish winterwear, all washed down with some good fizz. Plus, we have a very exciting offer for our readers at The Bloomsbury Club. Enjoy 50% off cocktails every Tuesday and Wednesday until the end of November (just quote Citizen Femme on arrival). Another activity to add to your list. Check.
Let’s be mindful about what we buy and what we book. Indulgent is good, I’m all for it, but make it leave a positive impact.
