This Week CF Loves: 11.11.24

It’s definitely chilly outside but we’re getting cosy and snug at home and outdoors, for date nights and on our own couch, plus we’re planning the ultimate weekend escape curated by only the best of the best.

A hidden terrace, a beautiful illustration, clear white sands, and the book that makes you smarter. Yes, you read that right. This is what we’re loving in this week’s Citizen Femme hotlist.

TRAVEL HERE WITH SCOTT DUNN St Lucia, Caribbean

We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again, travelling with Scott Dunn is *the* way to travel in style. Private international airport transfers, dedicated English-speaking local guides, tickets to the best cultural spots the country has to offer, and access to a prestigious portfolio of the world’s top luxury hotels – we can’t fault it. One of the best parts? When you book with Scott Dunn you’ll have a dedicated team and Travel Specialist on hand to listen to all your preferences and then hand-pick a bespoke array of local and luxury experiences to complement your trip. Now we really have your attention, how does a few weeks of winter sun in the Caribbean sound? Scott Dunn has access to all the hottest spots on the southern Caribbean island of St Lucia, from beachside villas to hillside hideaways. If it’s crystal clear waters you’re after, stay at Sugar Beach or The Landings, both perched right on St Lucia’s famous white sand beaches, for luxury barefoot living. The Landings, right on the beachfront, offers villa suites for celebrating with large groups of family or friends, while Sugar Beach is perfect for families with young kids with a great kids club and range of water activities. A trip to St Lucia also isn’t complete without enjoying the staggering backdrop of the Piton Mountains. Enjoy the view from afar from one of these great beachside spots, or head up into the hills to Rabot Hotel or Anse Chastanet. From rainforest hikes to chocolate making classes using the locally-grown cacao, enjoy these idyllic spots through an itinerary that has been made just for you.

SHOP THIS Jenna Elsby prints

Art prints and canvases are a chic but affordable way to decorate your home with colours, patterns and imagery that add soul to spaces. Propped on a shelf, amidst a gallery wall, or even in a bathroom, there’s plenty of spaces where they can express your personality, and coming up to festive season, they are a great gift option for a best friend. British illustrator Jenna Elsby is the way to go. With Jenna, each piece creates a story to transform a space instead of simply filling a space. Whether you’re investing in a print, a canvas or commissioning a piece, there’s so much from the illustrator that is both joyful and nostalgic. Plus, you can order hand illustrated place cards, menu cards, even hand painted gift wrap for an extra special Christmas.

ENOY DATE NIGHT HERE Ham Yard's Winter Rooftop Pop Up

We love a hidden terrace for a clandestine rendezvous. The terrace and garden on the 4th floor at Ham Yard Hotel, normally reserved for hotel guests, opens its doors with a new winter pop up with The Winter Gin Garden. Cosy up with a blanket and hot water bottle, and enjoy both cold and hot cocktails. Each ticket (£24) includes a welcome Milk Punch – a clarified blend of Sipsmith London Dry Gin, ruby Port, lemon and Ham Yard’s bespoke tea – plus another drink of choice. Stay snug al fresco in the living room dotted with heaters, candles and books, and pick from the 20-strong cocktail menu that invites you to sip through centuries with gin riffs on classics including a favourite “Hot Buttered Gin” – a twist on the much-loved hot buttered rum popular during the seventeenth century but with a Sipsmith Origin 1639 gin and berry twist. Enjoy this alongside a selection of snacks all cooked to order on the terrace in the Big Green Egg and wood fired oven. Try the Cacio e pepe black truffle flatbread, Kombu and soy glazed mushroom skewer, and Toasted s’mores with toffee apple and cinnamon crackers.

DECORATE WITH THIS Casa RIXO

Today, vibrant and vintage-inspired RIXO launches its debut homeware collection, allowing you to bring the same sense of individuality from your fashion into the home. Even small but impactful items like cushions, napkins, and tablecloths, can effortlessly transform a space. Inspired by the work of artist Henri Matisse, a longstanding influence on the brand, RIXO’s first interiors collection embraces the bold use of colour and artistic expression that the brand is known for. The designs feature hand-painted colours and tones that evoke a strong crafted feel with visible brushstrokes adding a touch of imperfection and uniqueness to each piece. The collection offers two distinct palettes: one bright and primary, and the other more neutral with terracotta and cream tones, offering much versatility for differing interior styles.
