EAT HERE Claridge’s x Hotel Il Pellicano
Tuscan gem Il Pelicano may be closed until season time begins, but that means the whole gang is en route to London bringing the Italian sunshine to London, with a residency at Claridge’s restaurant. Chef Michelino Gioia will be cooking some of his specialities including ravioli with butter and sage, veal cheek with chicory and Chianti sauce, and tiramisu, while barman Federico Morosi will mix Pelican Martinis and Teller Negronis, created in homage to Juergen Teller, a former guest of the hotel. The week-long partnership will take place in the hotel’s main dining room, Claridge’s Restaurant, which has been occupied by chefs such as Simon Rogan and Daniel Humm, and now a little dolce vita Italian charm will be added.
