Next up is the creative thinking Belma Gaudio, founder of Koibird and lover of colour.
Belma Gaudio was born in Bosnia, but by the age of two her family had fled to Kuwait to escape the war. This was the start of a life spent living all around the world, including California, Hong Kong, New York City, and London, to list a few places Belma has called home.
Belma sat down with Citizen Femme’s founder, Sheena Bhattessa, to share how being “a complete nomad” has influenced Koibird, the one thing Belma always does when she travels, as well as what she looks for in artisan makers and upcoming trends and styles to look forward to at Koibird.
We also chat about Belma’s work with the British Fashion Council, Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, and passion for art collecting – from how she balances it all to the role art plays as inspiration for her brand.
