Including new restaurants to try, summer staples to shop, beauty products for your basket, and a whole host of seasonal events to attend, these are some of the top things to do in June 2025.
Summer is here, and for the CF team that means al fresco dining, summer shopping, trips to Dubai, Portugal, Dorset, Scotland and beyond – and a whole line up of warm-weather events to attend, like Royal Ascot, Taste of London and Gala de Danza. One thing’s for sure, June 2025 is set to be a busy one.

WEAR These gorgeous Gucci loafers that I’ve treated myself to for the summer. TRAVEL I’ve been grounded for a few months without travel (not ideal for someone who reads and dreams of travel daily) so this list of best summer destinations 2025 quite frankly has been drooling. The Four Seasons Mallorca is absolutely on my wishlist for this summer. EAT I love a terrace so I think evenings at La Môme London at The Berkeley Hotel may become a June favourite, it’s giving all sorts of Slim Aarons’ vibes. DO I’ve started integrating this into my daily wake up routine. Admittedly I use cold water instead of ice, but I’m building up to it! JOIN I’m looking forward to speaking on the panel at the Wellnergy Festival next Friday (13 June) on ‘Building a family and finding balance’. It’s over two days and is filled with great speakers, main stage events and panels. PICNIC I’m a huge picnic fan (when its not raining of course) with the whole family and plenty of suppliers. Panzer’s Deli does my favourite epicurean summer treats and picnic hampers, and always so nicely presented.

TRY All the travel tech! Seriously, can we talk about the innovations out there at the moment? I want everything in our wellness director’s beauty tech guide, but especially Therabody’s depuffing wand. BUY A fun oversized beach bag, like this green one from Greek brand, Sun Of A Beach. I also love their tongue-in-cheek beach towels. CONTINUE Making my way around the best restaurants in Athens: next on my to-book list is the low-key but very chic Papadakis from Greek celebrity chef Argiro Barbarigou who serves traditional recipes with modern flair. READ Iconic: My Life In Fashion In 50 Objects, the life story of Zandra Rhodes co-written by Zandra and CF’s talented fashion features director, Ella Alexander. Published last year, it’s available in paperback this month. WATCH (from afar this year) as the annual Shubbak Festival, dedicated to contemporary Arab culture, takes place across London until 15 June. If I was in town, I’d be attending The Art of the Palestinian Poster (until 13 June) and the Safar Film Festival (until 28 June). DREAM Of taking one of these flight-free itineraries to Cornwall, Scotland or the Netherlands, a brand-new collaboration from two B Corps, Byway and Inhabit Hotels.

STAY In a cosy Airbnb cottage on the Jurassic Coast for a long weekend with my family. We love going hiking with our energetic golden retriever in tow! LISTEN To guitarist Paul Brown perform (and indulge in a gluten-free margarita) at the Pizza Express Jazz Club. EAT At the Noisy Oyster in Shoreditch – a new modern seafood-bistro from the team behind Firebird. Photos of its striking monochromatic decor tells me this isn’t trying to replicate a traditional ’quaint seaside’ feel – and I’ve heard rumours of incredible martinis. BUY One of the really sweet new season fruit-themed bags from Next. I’m totally lusting over the Strawberry one for holidays and what I love most is that it is really affordable (so I won’t mind if it gets a little covered in sand, salt water or SPF). RELAX At Pan Pacific’s new pool pop-up in partnership with fragrance house Jo Loves. It’s designed to feel like an escape to Lake Como and you can expect mimosas and small Italian bites on branded loungers. READ more! Summer is the time to upgrade your reading list and if you love gripping murder mysteries as much as I do then the new Mark Ellis thriller ‘Death of an Officer’ is my top-pick.

DO June is one of the busiest months of the year for me. I jokingly call it ‘Junember’ as it’s as packed with events as the run up to Christmas! One of my favourites is Royal Ascot. I love dressing up and watching the horse racing from the Royal Enclosure. But one of the most fun things about the day has to be the picnic in the car park beforehand. We go all out, using my Fortnums hamper and filling it full of delicious food – and Champagne! WEAR This Reformation dress to watch the rowing at Henley. Long means I can opt for flat sandals – perfect when you are on your feet all day! USE I’ve just discovered the most amazing blush sticks and tinted SPF 50 from Colour Science. Nice light coverage (but enough that you feel like you have some make up on) and not too heavy, it’s perfect for summer. GO To the Isle of Wight Festival with friends – and I’m very much looking forward to seeing Texas, Sting and Justin Timberlake. No trip to the island is complete without squeezing in lunch at The Hut in Cowell Bay either. EAT At Barbarella the latest Big Mama restaurant which is soon to open in Canary Wharf.

EAT Everything at Taste of London Food Festival – a glorious five days in Regent’s Park dedicated to the capital’s best food and drink. New restaurants in the line-up this year include Akira Back, Los Mochis and Guy Ritchie’s pub, Lore of the Land. BUY This summer, I want to wear everything from Australian brand Alémais. A stark contrast to the minimalist aesthetic, these bold and fun prints splashed over silky separates and linen sarong skirts are, in my opinion, perfect for holiday dressing. I’ve just added this silk co-ord to my wardrobe and I’m obsessed. BOOK Italian favourite, Harry’s, has just opened a new outpost at Kings Cross, with chic Venetian-inspired interiors and a generous sun-soaked terrace, it’s calling for post-work al fresco catch-ups with friends. WEAR This little malachite bracelet from the collaboration between Harris Reed x Missoma has not left my wrist since I got it. The pop of green feels like a welcome addition to my bracelet stack and I love its talismanic meaning.

EAT I recently tried One Club Row, currently one of London’s buzziest restaurants and it was worth the hype. Excellent food in a chic, light-filled setting. I’m already dying to go back. WATCH I don’t care what the haters say, I am very excited to gorge on season three of And Just Like That. Incredible clothes, aspirational living and Carrie Bradshaw’s New York is just what the doctor ordered. WEAR Silver jewellery is making a comeback and I love these Astley Clarke mixed-metal earrings, which I’ve been wearing with this floral dress by Clary & Peg. The brand is best known for its maternitywear (Poppy Delevingne recently did a collaboration), which is designed to be worn long after post-partum. The dress I have is multi-purpose – it can be styled as a skirt, or as a strapless dress (my preferred option). READ Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern brings out a memoir this month, which I’ll be adding to my reading list. Her form of leadership – guided by empathy, thoughtfulness and a love of people – is so inspiring to me. VISIT My family and I are going on holiday to the Scottish seaside town of North Berwick in a few weeks. We go every year, it’s the perfect mix of beauty, beaches and restaurants.

VISIT This month I’m heading to Dubai on a girls’ trip to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We’ve got the restaurants booked: Asia Asia (for the best Asian fusion) and Shimmers (for an amazing Burj al Arab view), among others. I can’t wait to be dressing up every night – just because. WEAR It’s definitely a PUCCI summer, and I can’t wait to style my new bikini and matching pareo on the beach. I’ll also be having a look at CF’s Little Black Book Of Swimwear for some inspo. BUY I’ve just discovered Kopari and I’m obsessed. Their SPF 50 body mist smells amazing, and I’ll be relying on their SPF 50 face mist to keep my skin protected under the UAE sun. EAT For a sunny lunch in London, I’m looking to Zuaya in Kensington. The space is gorgeous and the food blends vibrant flavours from Peru, Brazil, and beyond. Order the slow-roasted lamb tacos – they taste like a mini escape to Rio! ATTEND The Southbank Centre’s Little Simz’ Meltdown Festival (12–22 June). She’s curating the whole thing, and the lineup is packed with artists who reflect her sound, energy, and edge. It’s going to be a cool event – very worth a visit.

WATCH Sirens on Netflix with Milly Alcock, Meghan Fahy and Julianne Moore. So good! WEAR My birthday is this month and I’m looking for something fabulous to wear. I have my eye on this fun party dress from TG Botanical on Moda Operandi. CELEBRATE Speaking of parties we will be dancing the night away at Tramp. BUY I’ve run out of the only perfume I wear so it’s time to restock (although I’m not-so-secretly hoping that someone might buy it for me for my birthday…) TRAVEL To Sugar Beach in St. Lucia during the school summer holidays. For me, the Caribbean is the most relaxing place – and it is quieter during the summer low season.

VISIT Portugal for a wedding. While in the north, it’s a rite of passage for me to stop by the Douro Valley for some incredible wine. I’m usually a vin rouge girl but white vinho verde has me tight in its fresh, floral (but not sweet) grasp, and the vineyards here always have a new bottle to try. Back home, I will BOOK TICKETS for the first ever Gala de Danza – an international dance and music festival packed with industry-changing, multidisciplinary performances, right here in London. Running for just two days (25 and 26 June) I am keen to snap up tickets. I also definitely won’t be missing London Gallery Weekend (6-8 June). MARTINIS AND JAZZ At Seabird’s rooftop bar. As a huge lover of jazz, I am so excited that Seabird and Ronnie Scott’s are teaming up to keep me entertained for six nights across the summer months. EAT At Aqua Shard on level 31 of the Shard. The menu showcases British classics of roasted wild sea bass and Cornish lamb alongside other intriguing dishes; I have my eye on the roasted Moroccan spiced cauliflower and wild garlic spelt risotto. It’s all served with unbeatable views, making it the best place to impress visiting friends. READ Heart Lamp by Banu Mustaq won the International Booker Prize for 2025 and everyone I have spoken to has said it’s incredible. Next on my ‘to read’ list.
