Editor's Letter: June 2025

I really didn’t want to kick off with the cliché, we’re already in June? But surely we all have that same expression by this time of year, “How is it already June?”

It’s been one whirlwind that’s for sure. Last month saw our Passport To Luxury Travel Summit, which was so brilliant. One I’m particularly proud of – the speakers, the atmosphere, the learnings… And we released our trend report with Globetrender and Scott Dunn, around the “Femmefluence” revolution transforming travel. “Women are leading the charge when it comes to scouting out ‘what’s next’ in travel,” says Jenny Southan, founder of Globetrender. “They’re not just spending more on travel, they’re fundamentally reshaping what luxury and adventure mean in the sector. The five trends we’ve identified show how women’s increasing financial independence and evolving priorities are creating new demands that the industry must adapt to.” It’s definitely worth a read. On a personal front, its also been busy with a new addition to our family. It always happens at once, doesn’t it? Which begs the question, I get asked often, about work life balance. I’ll be doing a panel at Wellnergy Festival next week talking about this exactly. Is there such a thing? That’s why I love reading our column ‘How She Does It’, where we ask working mums, how do you actually do it??? And as I’ve been grounded for a few months, I am dreaming of sunny shores, beaches with my littles. This article is a particularly good read if you’re looking for travel inspiration with the family for the whole year, plus what you may find particularly helpful on the journey from our Fashion Editor travelling with her toddler.

We kicked off June with a particularly special event with the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman, a spectacular property that I urge you to visit, all year round. Uncomplicated, unadulterated, simply stunning island living. And throughout June, we explore our favourite getaways. From what makes a chic travel destination to staying glam in the heat, the revival of the Athens Riviera to where to eat ice cream in London and the best restaurants to book in London now. Not to forget the books you need to be reading, the shoes to pack, the skincare to use, we have you covered. And as far as the team’s personal recommendations go, we’re all getting stuck in to some exciting events this June.

Whether you’re planning your travels, booking in some exciting events back home or simply finding some balance in your life, let us guide you on how best to do it.
