Including concerts, island getaways, rooftop pools, summer style must-haves, beauty products for your basket and new restaurants to try, these are some of the top things to do and shop in July 2025.
Summer is in full swing, and for the CF team that means trips to Ibiza and the Greek islands, al fresco dining, events like Wimbledon and the Henley Regatta to attend, plus summer shopping.
This is all the inspo you need for a fun-packed July.

SEE Ludovico Einaudi at the Royal Albert Hall. A spectacular pianist and I couldn’t be more excited. STAY I’m, finally, making my way for a mini staycation with my family at Estelle Manor. It’s been on my wish list for a while. EXERCISE I’m back to exercise and I am all over Heartcore pilates studios, and looking forward to trying/easing into MAD Mayfair. EAT I absolutely love a farmer’s market. You’ll find me at Duke of York Square when I can make it on a Saturday, and Marylebone Farmer’s Market on a Sunday. But this weekend, I’ll be trying Cafe Linea, a newly opened all-day dining eatery right next to the Saatchi Gallery, a wonderful taste of European café culture in London. USE I am loving the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré, a multitasking miracle moisturiser, supposedly the secret weapon of chic French women – and I can absolutely see why. It hydrates and nourishes sun-exposed skin (perfect right now) and doubles up as a radiance-boosting primer for that effortless dewy summer glow. At the end of a long hot day, it melts away makeup with ease and I even use it as an overnight mask for skin repair. HIRE I love to host a little garden party every summer and my go-to is Raj Tent Club for their fabulous furniture. This year its Blue Bentwood Rattan chairs and white parasols for some shade. All accompanied with Tommy’s margaritas of course.

STAY In Santorini for a few nights. It will be my third time on the island, and I’m excited to do it differently. I’m staying at Vedema in Megalochori, one of the oldest villages in Santorini and, importantly, away from the crowds. BUY Summer sets to take with me, and I love this blue and green short/top combo from Free People. VISIT As many beaches on the Athens Riviera as possible to escape the heat back in the city! Astir Beach is a forever favourite. ENJOY Evenings al fresco at open-air cinemas – a Greek national pastime during summer. I’ve booked Pool Your Cinema, which takes place on the rooftop of the city’s oldest hotel, Grande Bretagne. Pass the popcorn. WATCH Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War, a nine-part docuseries on Netflix that spans and connects wartime events from 1938 to the present day. It’s not an easy watch (and I’m sure there’s some bias presented too – isn’t there always?) but it is an important account of global events, some of which I’m learning about for the very first time.

STAY At TRS Ibiza Hotel, the first adult-only all-inclusive hotel in Ibiza. The aim is to add a touch of relaxation to my stay on the party isle, and it is said to be home to some of the best sunsets on the island. WATCH Noughts & Crosses at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. Malorie Blackman’s poignant tale of love and prejudice is as impactful now on stage as it was when I first read it as a teenager. BUY A new running pack, just in time for my ultra marathon training to really kickstart. My old faithful, ripe for a repurchase, is the Inov8 Ultrapac Pro 2in1 Running Hydration Vest. EAT My weight in what has been reported as the best guacamole in London at the newly opened Tigermilk on Tottenham Court Road (the restaurant already has outposts all over France). The small Mexican plates and cocktails look equally delicious, so I’ve booked a table for my boyfriend’s birthday. UPGRADE My jewellery game to match my summer outfits. I’m experimenting with layering bangles and small chain bracelets at the moment, after years of never really wearing anything on my wrists, but would love a classic yellow gold and diamond Cartier Love Bracelet to pull every accessory moment together. RELAX By one of London’s best rooftop and infinity pools. It is fair to say I had a lot of fun shortlisting them for my recent article.

STAY I’ll be spending my summer in Devon, but also nipping over to Cornwall for a few days to stay at the gorgeous Watergate Bay Hotel with my family. It’s on a great surfing beach so my boys are all really looking forward to taking their boards and catching some waves. WATCH Tennis at Wimbledon. I’m going with my sister and hoping to see some great matches in the second week. Afterwards we will grab something to eat at the Olive Garden, a lovely little Italian I used to go to all the time when I lived in the area. SEE The new F1 movie starring Brad Pitt. It’s getting rave reviews from my friends – I wonder why?! WEAR I have a slight obsession with tan sandals (they just go with everything don’t they?) so I’m always on the look out for the perfect style and I think I might have just found that in this pair from Margaux. READ I’m certainly not averse to the odd KitKat, but overall I’m pretty fussy about not eating processed food, so I’m looking forward to reading Milli Hill’s new book Ultra Processed Women: The Lies We’re Fed About What We Eat – And How To Break Free. It’s all about the impact that food has on women’s bodies and hormones. Fascinating. BUY We recently bought a Yeti Cooler Backpack and it is amazing. Everything stays cold for hours. We will be packing it with picnics and drinks and taking it to the beach with us every day this summer. The design means it’s also super easy to carry.

EAT At the newly opened TIDE at Coworth Park. A picture perfect setting with views over the wildflower meadows, celebrating British produce and seasonally led ingredients. Expect mouth-watering dishes from native lobster paccheri pasta – generously coated in freshly shaved black truffle – to whole Cornish turbot created by Michelin starred executive chef, Adam Smith. The tablescapes alone are worthy of a mention – hand-painted octopus plates, silver crab serving dishes, cobalt blue edged scalloped napkins and bright red lobster napkin rings. DRINK Al fresco dining calls for a cold glass of fizz, and Rathfinny’s English sparking wine seriously hits the spot. WEAR It’s bare legs and sandals season, so I’m taking my jewellery game up a notch with a welded anklet from Astrid & Miyu. The delicate gold chain will go with everything, and add a bit of extra sparkle to everything from swimwear to summer dresses. GO To Henley Regatta for a quintessentially British spectator sport. This year, CALA events are bringing the VIP experience to Oxfordshire – with over 200 metres of river front real estate, CALA is the largest public enclosure on the waterfront with elevated views that’ll ensure you’ll enjoy the best views of the race.

EAT Low-key, family-run dining institution Singburi recently opened its new restaurant in Shoreditch and everyone I know whose been says it’s as good as its original Leytonstone outpost. The menu honours its much-loved Southeast Asian classics, while still allowing for culinary evolution. True to its roots, BYOB is still welcome but this time round there’s a drinks menu too. It’s not easy to get a table, but I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait. WEAR I‘d been searching for a pair of slouchy linen trousers in the perfect shade of green for a while when journalist and author Laura Brown launched her new collection with chic French label Vanessa Sposi. Among other versatile, trend-resistant styles, it features my dream pair – soft, relaxed and with utilitarian details. I’ll be wearing them with a black tank and sandals until summer ends. WATCH Lena Dunham’s new romcom, Too Much, a new Netflix series launching on 10 July. It stars Hacks’ Meg Stalter as a freshly-single workaholic New Yorker who moves to London – and the trailer alone has me excited. BUY I’m planning a birthday garden party this month and am eyeing up these brass portable lamps from lights&lamps to brighten up our outdoor space. They’re rechargeable, so can easily be used inside and outside. VISIT Whitstable for a girls’ night with my best friends. We’re staying at the newly-renovated historic pub The Duke of Cumberland, which is a stone-throw from the sea, and have booked a session at Whitstable Sauna, situated on the beach itself. DO Every summer, I head to Folkestone in Kent for the annual Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever. It’s a celebration of the book, but really a deliciously mad homage to Kate Bush’s famed song. Over 1,500 people gather on the town’s Harbour Arm in red ensembles akin to the dress Bush wore in the music video and perform the same dance she did. It is a solid eyeful well worth the trip.

TRY The Free Soul Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies. I hate the taste of actual apple cider vinegar but love the benefits, and these gummies are actually nice? They taste good, do the job, and I can stick to them without holding my breath. EAT My boyfriend and I found a new mid-week date spot: Dan Dan in Aldgate. It’s super lowkey, but the food is amazing. Add it to your list if you’re into bold, spicy flavours. SHOP I’ve been shopping for my summer trips and picked up a few cute pieces: this Sandro dress for a lunch date and this Pucci silk halter top, which looks so good against my skin tone. SEE Two of my favourite artists – Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR – are in concert this month in Manchester, and I had to get tickets. Vibes will be immaculate! WATCH The Trainwreck documentaries on Netflix – an anthology series that dives into real-life disasters, from catastrophic music festivals like Astroworld and Woodstock ’99 to political scandals and media hoaxes. The latest one covers the wild and infamous “poop cruise” of 2013, where 4,000 passengers were stuck without working toilets for four days. I binged them all over the weekend – horrified, but still hooked.

DAY TRIP To Bicester Village. When was the last time you went shopping with your best friend? My friend and I went for the day and had such a lovely time. It’s easy to get to, has amazing shopping, good discounts and nice places for lunch. The perfect day out. BUY Missoni is my favourite brand for beachwear and this year I opted for a one-piece swimsuit with matching Palazzo pants – I can’t wait to wear them. EAT I recently tried Acre in Notting Hill for breakfast, a deli-inspired corner restaurant from the team behind Straker’s and I loved it. It looks out onto Golborne Road so is ideal for people watching. DRINK & DANCE At Canteen, especially if you sit outside, for relaxed Italian dining. Head upstairs afterwards, to the Fat Badger, for drinks and live music. It’s so much fun! In theory it’s a secret invite-only pub, so plan your entrance strategically. WEAR Shell necklaces are so in and I love this one from YSSO. Look out for the collaboration with Eden Rock St Barths as well.

STAY I’m heading to Crete this month (a Greek island I’ve not visited before) to stay at the newly opened JW Marriott, the hotel group’s first Greek outpost. It looks absolutely beautiful; I am so looking forward to relaxing by the pool and trying out the restaurants. (Oh, and we have a competition if you’d like to win a stay too!) EAT I truly believe I will never grow tired of London’s restaurant scene. A new restaurant called SINO has just opened in Notting Hill, led by Ukrainian duo Polina Sychova and chef Eugene Korolev, and looks very enticing. I am not so familiar with Ukrainian cuisine, but just reading the menu (crayfish, cabbage, tomato veloute and cherry-glazed barbecue catfish) sounds delicious. VISIT The Once Upon A Time In London exhibition at Saatchi Yates, celebrating the city’s rich artistic legacy with 40 works. I’m also keeping an eye on the photo fair Les Rencontres d’Arles starting on 7 June, which always spotlights incredible photographers. SHOP I’m wearing a strapless dress for a special wedding this month, and would love to pair it with this brown beaded Danae necklace in hazelnut by Sézane. READ Girl On Girl by Sophie Gilbert who delves into “how pop culture turned a generation of women against themselves” – incredibly informed and totally fascinating.
