Summer 2025 is (unofficially) the year of the cherry in Ibiza. The iconic Pacha Ibiza emblem has almost become a symbol for the island itself, with the club deeply woven into its cultural fabric.
Even as new superclubs land on the White Isle, Pacha continues to dance to its own unique beat – bolstered by its resident superstar DJs, like Solomun, Marco Carola and CamelPhat.
For decades, Ibiza has been shorthand for summer’s ultimate European party (sorry, Mykonos). And while the island’s nightlife has evolved in recent years, it’s now experiencing a renaissance – refined and relevant – yet every bit as hedonistic. At the heart of this eat/sleep/rave/repeat revival is Destino Five Ibiza (eat, sleep, but make it five-star) and Pacha (rave, repeat, with the option of a velvet-roped VIP booth).
Here’s why these two Ibiza giants lead the dance for Ibiza’s shiny-new-disco-ball era.
Destino Five: The Hotel Retreat with a Pulse
Destino Five Ibiza
There aren’t many five star hotels where you can find an outdoor gym with machines that look like art sculptures and an al fresco dancefloor fringed with palm trees and disco balls. But Destino Five Ibiza is no ordinary hotel – it’s the glossy sister property of Pacha Hotel. Newly relaunched with 159 rooms and suites, Destino Five combines eco-conscious luxury with signature poolside cocktails and a smidge of Pacha hedonism.
Rooms range from minimalist white crash pads for post-Pacha recovery to expansive Cherry Suites with private pools, gardens, and al fresco dining spaces. Veined marble in Pacha’s signature greens and reds brings a polished finish, while vintage photography is a nostalgic nod to Ibiza’s hedonistic past. There’s also playful touches with subtle cherry emblems on repeat (chic branded water cans included) and a not-so-subtle mirrored ceiling – excellent for capturing clubbing outfit selfies.

Come evening, dinner at the standout Greek dining concept Elia are complete with live DJ set and panoramic sunset views of Ibiza’s old town Dalt Villa from the breezy terrace.

While Destino Five leans into wellness and sophistication, Thursdays belong to the palm-fringed dancefloor. At the weekly Pacha ICONS, the poolside scene transforms to open-air club with marathon sets from the likes of Marco Carola (Music On), Solomun, Michael Bibi and Blond:ish (who made history this summer as the first ever female headline resident at Pacha). Pacha ICONS start at 5pm and finish at the respectable hour of 11pm. After-hours? Once the decks stop spinning, Destino Five opens its insider basement club, TOX Club Privé, where up to 150 guests can experience some of the island’s top DJs in a more intimate setting. For Destino Five residents eager to extend the night into the early hours, there’s complimentary access to Pacha Ibiza where you can join another 2999 fellow ravers on the legendary dancefloor.
Pacha Ibiza: The Legend of the Cherry
Since 1973, Pacha Ibiza has been more than a nightclub – it’s a cultural institution. Over five decades, its stage has hosted icons from Grace Jones and Freddie Mercury to today’s EDM heavyweights. DJ Solomun’s legendary Sunday sets draws crowds that wrap around the club at 1am for entry. Key to the magic? Like its dancefloor devotees, Pacha has never stood still, constantly evolving to maintain its global superclub crown.

Powered by 100 per cent green energy, Pacha declares itself ‘the most sustainable nightclub in the world’. The venue has recently reimagined its interiors to appeal to every type of club-goer, from intimate VIP lounges, to rooftop cocktail bar, to gourmet pre-rave restaurant.
Pacha Restaurant

Pacha’s latest evolution goes beyond the dancefloor, bringing the pre-club experience into its own iconic space. Downstairs, tucked inside the legendary nightclub, the indoor-outdoor Pacha Restaurant is a vibrant late-night dining concept that’s like a culinary warm-up act for the night ahead. Think live DJ, signature cocktails and a Japanese‑Mediterranean sharing menu featuring standout dishes, like Wagyu tataki, glazed octopus and Iberian grilled pork tenderloin. Follow up on dessert with a shot of double espresso and the added bonus of complimentary entry to the club until 6am closing.
Paradiso Bar

Elevating the Pacha roof terrace, the award-winning Paradiso Bar (with sister locations in Barcelona and Dubai) launched this summer. The collaboration between The Pacha Group and Group Confiteria, Paradiso Ibiza brings a masterclass in mixology with a 14-strong cocktail menu featuring signatures like the Paradiso Mule, Eucalyptus Negroni, and Pornstar Martini Paradiso. The glamorous new terrace hotspot offers the perfect vantage to sip, plot your set list favourites, and take in the twinkling backdrop of Ibiza Old Town at night before the dancing begins.
