This Week CF Loves: 29.09.25

As autumn settles in, it’s the perfect time to refresh your wardrobe, reset your habits, and prepare for the ski season ahead.

Start with a new coat that blends style and warmth, designed to keep you cosy during chilly mornings and crisp evenings. If you’re embracing Sober October, consider this wine replacement, and as the ski season approaches, why not treat yourself to a ski reset. Plus, try this street food concept to add some spice to your life. Embrace the season with intention and style—your body and mind will thank you. This is what we’re loving in this week’s Citizen Femme hotlist.

STAY HERE Ashford Castle, Ireland

In just released House of Guinness, Netflix lifts the curtain on the turbulent inheritance, ambition and tragedy of a family whose name still echoes across Ireland and beyond. For those stirred by the series’ blend of power, legacy, and Irish grandeur, a pilgrimage to Ashford Castle feels almost inevitable. Once owned by Sir Benjamin Lee Guinness, Ashford is more than just a backdrop—it is a living monument to the era: grand Victorian extensions, sweeping woodlands, and ornamental gardens planted during the Guinness stewardship, all rising from its medieval roots. To stay there is to walk the same halls, breathe the same damp breeze off Lough Corrib, and sense the choices that shaped a dynasty..

EAT HERE Adoh!

The capital recently welcomed a newcomer to its Sri Lankan food scene in the form of Adoh! Masterminded by the team behind the ever popular Kolamba, Adoh! opened the doors to its Covent Garden home earlier this month as a vibrant homage to the colourful roadside eateries of its motherland. The menu delivers tasty, budget-friendly street food served in a relaxed setting, with stainless steel tables and corrugated wall panels, decorated with hand-drawn illustrations and bold typography. Foodie highlights include the kothus, a typical Sri Lankan dish made using chopped up rotis, vegetables and eggs, tossed together on a grill and finished with curry sauce. We tried the crab version (it’s also available with chicken, mutton and jackfruit), and have been thinking about it for days since. Don’t miss the crispy mutton rolls either, an aromatic, spicy snack with just the right amount of bite. If you’re looking for a quick, hearty meal in an upbeat, lively environment, add Adoh! to your list. – Ella Alexander.

WEAR THIS WNU's The Chatsworth Coat

As the air turns crisper, The Chatsworth, the first overcoat from With Nothing Underneath lands exactly at the moment your wardrobe needs it most. It strikes the rare balance of versatile elegance and utilitarian comfort: enough structure to elevate smart outfits, but with weather‑ready features. A favourite?  The Chatsworth Coat in Dark Stone, which is the epitome of  the art of effortless. It has a masculine cut but carries a belt that allows the perfect cinch to the waist. Lined with WNU’s slightly brushed heritage green check for a flash of vintage in the detail, it’s a transitional anchor piece that works from office to weekend. Over a crisp shirt or belted around knits, this throw-on-and-go coat elevates whatever you have on underneath.

DRINK THIS REAL

Thinking about taking a break from alcohol this October? It’s a fantastic way to hit reset—whether you’re just curious or ready to make a lasting change. REAL is a sparkling non-alcoholic drink that’s a great replacement to try,  indulgent, elevated, and perfect for continuing life as normal without the alcohol. Using natural fermentation, REAL transforms tea leaves and grape skins into a wine-like drink. The range features three styles – REAL Blush, REAL Sec, and REAL Dry – each designed to suit different moods and moments, whether it’s popping a beautifully designed bottle at dinner or enjoying over a leisurely Sunday lunch.
