In our newest series, Out Of Office, we get to know the incredible women behind some of our favourite brands and places, chatting about everything from the ins and outs of running a business to where to enjoy those rare days off (and naturally, everything in between).
Who wants to be referred to as a pear? Or an apple? Or even an hour glass? Stylist and personal shopper Anna Berkeley set out to change the way we talk about our bodies with the incredible personal styling app Think Shape. In our latest episode, we get to know the indomitable Anna who offers us a glimpse into how it felt to work in the fashion industry over the past thirty years – from everything that has changed to the parts that haven’t changed enough.
Anna Berkeley started out as a buyer for Selfridges, flying around the world from fashion weeks to wholesale events in order to bring in the hottest styles and trends of the season. Moving into styling and personal shopping, Anna began to realise how many women struggle with personal style and understanding their body’s shapes and proportions, especially during transitional phases of their lives. Here, Anna sits down with Citizen Femme’s founder Sheena Bhattessa to chat about everything from the art of body mapping to what downtime looks like with two teenage boys.
Travel still plays an influential role in Anna’s life. Where’s she off to next? Watch now to find out ….
