In our latest Out Of Office, we sat down with make-up artist and beauty entrepreneur, Ruby Hammer, to chat about everything from the ins and outs of running a business to where to enjoy those rare days off (and naturally, everything in between).
Over three decades in the beauty industry has made Ruby “a proper OG” when it comes to all things beauty and make up. What has changed over this time? “Everything,” Ruby explains. She dives into it all with Citizen Femme’s founder Sheena Bhattessa, from wellness to aging to the beauty noise rife across social media.

Ruby also shares all the places her career has taken her; after all, travel was instilled in the make-up artist from a young age, who grew up in Nigeria before moving to the UK. Travel “broadens the mind and broadens your experience – your education and mindset expands,” Ruby explains.
